But yeah anecdotally speaking the majority of single childless men over say 30 or 35 have been rather selfish assholes and often less motivated than those with children. My brother being the perfect example. I don’t know if its cliche to say this these days or not but I truly feel a strong nuclear family leads to a strong America.
You’ve alluded to it above regarding the sexual revolution being the catalyst that arguably precipitated the decline of the nuclear family. I couldn’t say for sure. But I do know several of the metrics you shared to be true. Determining causality is the real argument but I really don’t think its a tremendous stretch of the imagination to attribute to what you’ve already stated.
But yeah to hell with the nuclear family and lets embrace our inner hedonist. Fuck the consequences. Nothing immoral about infanticide anyways. So fuck it.
Not that I am an expert on philosophy or European culture or anything for that matter. But I think the value system of western culture is such that where we are at currently was an inevitable destination. Maybe it has something to do with valuing personal sovereignty so much. Other cultures don’t have these woes. It might be a bit ironic maybe what made the west so great is ultimately what will tear it apart.
Literal lol. I saw eye-to-eye with him on many issues, especially some discussed here, but he would lose his temper with people. I also couldn’t wrap my head around how he agreed with me on such matters but then serial “date”. (When I use quotations for dating and date, I am referring to modern-style dating.)

Let’s agree to disgree to disagree. I don’t believe homosexuality is immoral, I believe it is likely a byproduct of engrained neurology present at birth. There is no evidence to suggest you can forcibly turn someone homosexual and/or “convert” someone.
On a more comical note. Charlie Sheen has admitted to using anabolic steroids within the past. There is a quasi underground inside joke regarding the use of trenbolone in particular and the induction of homosexual desires and/or cravings or fetishes (particuarly men having sex with transvestites).

Ideally softly-arranged marriage, which in the initial phase would require people going on dates to see if there is a fit, and the prospects likely go on dates because they met at a religious, educational, or community institution or through introduction by people who think they match.
This can actually takes huge stress off of men. For many nice men modern dating is stressful
and a waste of time and energy and a source of disappointment and heartbreak.
I think consideration of whether a prospect will be a good fit for a family as a whole should be taken. Of course people marry spouses, but in what I think are ideal circumstances they marry into another family. I personally have heavy involvement in my in-laws and my wife’s whole family and they bend over backwards for us.
If others want to do it another way, that’s fine. I only know what I would have benefited from and how I want to fashion my own household and family. If others want to approve of any man that for their daughter, “makes her happy” (including “hot guys”), that’s fine.
I see conflation here. There is objective morality, evil deeds done deliberately, hurting others for selfish gain and church doctrine, rules and tradition. And churches are often guilty of making the breaking of their rules, traditions and doctrine “a sin”. Really, those rules, traditions and doctrine are to lead you in a positive way, towards God and away from evil, but in themselves are not moral precepts and subject to interpretation.
I had the misfortune of seeing excerpts from the film, which alone were hard to watch. To see these girls doing these highly sexual moves while understanding that they are 11 yrs old was sick as hell. No way I could sit through the movie. But I saw the excerpts and read about the plot. So I know that the movie shows little girls acting like professional pole dancers but the plot is to show you 90 minutes of that stuff, but then saying “Yeah, we put these girls through all of that to show you how bad it is.” It’s weak, poor messaging designed as an excuse to showcase little girls acting really messed up.
Well, being fucked up, beats being in agony any day. Either way, I hope it fixes you up. Chronic pain is deeply misunderstood by those who haven’t experienced it. It’s hard to properly express how destructive it is to your psyche and life. So I really do hope, that what ever your going through will get you out of pain so you can lead a normal happy life.
Shit, I would argue they imply that most men could never be at the level they are, unless you got money, then you are almost acceptable.
