I’ll start off by saying I’m 5’7", 158 lbs, with about 15% bodyfat… I want to get down to about 9% so I can see my abs, but I don’t want to lose any muscle that I’ve worked hard to gain. Here is my diet info…
3255 Calories
128 Fat
221 Carbs
326 Protein.
I’m on Week 5 of the Iron Manual, which I do at lunch. I was thinking of running either in the morning before work or in the afternoon after work… When would be best?
Also, any suggestions on my routine or diet would be great!
mqgeek, welcome to the board!!! I see that this is your first post.
In general, we don’t design diets for people here. What we are willing to do (after you’ve done your homework and put together a plan) is critique what you DO put together; identify the potential problems, make recommendations.
Assuming you would like to move in that direction, use the search engine to the left of your screen (change the T-Forums default to T-Mag) and search for key words of interest; diet, nutrition, protein. I specifically would like to see you read the FAQ and everything every written by John Berardi. One article in particular that will be helpful is Chris Shugart’s “The Missing Ingredient,” which is about how to keep a food log, an essential tool for those who wish to positively manipulate their body composition.
Okay. That ought to get you started. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask.
