Reggie White

Reggie White, the minister of defense, passed away yesterday.

Don’t know how many had a chance to watch this guy play but he was arguable the best Defensive End to play the game. Pioneered the “Bull Rush” which if you ever saw Reggie do it, you knew it was properly named.

Off the field he was a man among men. Minister, huge charitable guy, community leader and father. You name it, if it was a good cause, Reggie supported it and lent his name to it, if it helps.

He played for some great Philly Teams and then went on to win the Super Bowl with Green Bay. He came to Philly and played on a great line that featured he and Jerome Brown. These guys were a wrecking crew. Jerome died way to young and so did Reggie at age 43.

Reggie was a T man in the truest sense. He will be missed by many.

I can’t believe he’s gone. He was an amazing specimen, both as an athelete and as a human being.

He will be missed.

It is a shame to see that he passed away. I just heard that it was the Campbell’s Chunky Soup that killed him. Apparently he had just consumed a can of Sodium Surprise, and keeled over. Sorry for the bad joke, but I just saw one of his commercials the other day. -The Starkdog

Some of our current Football and Basketball pro’s would be well off to emulate Reggie White’s actions both on and off the field. He was a good man in every sense of the word.

On NFL Today they quoted him once and he said something like, “I came into this league to sack sin and quarterbacks.”
