Yep, these are exactly the kind of people I’d want in my country.
Well, the Bulgarians are talking things into their own hands, literally. Armed citizen militias are being formed in villages on the border with Turkey and they perform “citizen arrests” of migrants who try to enter Bulgaria. They’ve been under the Ottoman rule for 500 or so years, so let’s say they’re acquainted with the religion of peace.
Just shows you how important is that general population has access to guns and why the governments oppose that.

This is simply wrong. His family fled kobani and got refuge in Turkey. Living safely, they then decided to risk getting to europe for financial reasons, a better life. They were not refugees, they were economic migrants. They left safety in Turkey for financial incentive.
My heart breaks for the kid, but it was his family who killed him, they were not refugees.
