Keg Press and Load Medley. 150, 175, 200, and a 225 keg were to pressed over head and then, carried 20ft and loaded to a 48" platform in 75 seconds. My best run at this was the 150, 175, and 200 keg were pressed and loaded in 48 seconds. I couldn’t press the 225 was to gassed by the time I got to but was able to load it.
Yoke Walk I worked up to 700lbs for 60ft in 28 seconds. I could have easily gotten farther but ran,out of yard. This was a 100lbs PR at 20lbs less body weight as well.
Viking Press: worked up to 250lbs for easy 8, and 300lbs for a double.
18in Deadlift straps allowed. I pulled 645lbs a 45lbs PR. It was the ugliest most hitched and almost missed pull you have ever seen.
today was legit got my butt handed to me but went rep for rep with Sam Byrd… Just not using the same weight but hey one day.
Front Squats: I worked up to a 315 for 2 sets of triples then backed off to 225 for 1 set of 14. I am still a little tired from this weekends event training and then on top of that me and Sam kept a pretty quick pace so I was a bit more winded than usual.
Sam put me to shame of course crushing 405 for 3 x 5 and 1 x 8.
RDL off Platform: 3 sets of 12 with 235
Incline Leg Lifts: 3 sets of 20
Roman Chair Situps: 3 sets of 15 against light bands.
Log Clean and Press: worked up to 265 for a double.
Log Clean: Worked up to 305 for 2 singles.
Close Pulldown: 180 for sets of 8, 200 for 1 set of 8, 220 for 1 set of 7.
Rack Lockouts with Log plus Red Bands: 115x10, 115x8, 135x5.
Rear Laterals: 3x10 with 40lbs.
Triceps Pressdown: 3x12 with 65lbs
Log Press Day.- yes I skipped Squats but, only because Sam couldn’t make it today so we are squatting tomorrow.
Log Press: 200 for 9 and 200 for 8. These were supposed to be 10 rep sets but the one motions killed me.
Incline Log Press: 145lbs for 3 sets of 10.
Barbell Row: 155lbs for 3 sets of 10.
Close Pulldowns: 180 for 3 sets of 10.

Sounds fantastic to me.
Hey what kind of log do you use (who made it)? Is it 12" I suppose?

Hey man even if you don’t have a Facebook account you should still be able to watch that link. You won’t be able to comment but you could watch it. Also YouTube is in the works im completely retarded when it comes to computers, and uploading stuff especially from this phone. I just switched from a Droid which was two clicks away from uploading a video to about any where to a Windows phone and it is kicking my ass right now. In the mean time though FB is free and easier to sign up than here was. I literally only have one to network strongman and keep up with my training crew.

I use a Pitbull 10" Log. Its only $250 with shipping included absolute best deal around. Alan makes some awesome equipment for half the price some of these companies do. I got the 10in Log because its harder to clean and and much more range of motion so I know for a fact if I can nail 250 on a 10" then 250 on a 12 or 13 is light weight.

Ah man Pitbull was exactly the route I was going to go. Heard nothing but praise about his stuff, and I have no idea how he keeps it so inexpensive.
I had the opposite idea about sizes though. I figured a larger diameter would be harder for some reason. Shows how much I know lol. I was going to get a 12", but now I’ll have to give it some more thought. I am a big believer in training harder than you have to compete. Do most contests use a 12" log or does it just vary?

Yeah the most common size I would say is a 12" Log for Comps.
Well think about it this way when cleaning a 12in log your biceps are closer to your strongest position. With a 10in its sucked in more putting them in the contracted position so just a bit weaker. Also with the 12 in log you don’t need your hands to be rotated as forward to compensate for the roll of the log putting your wrists In a more natural powerful position. Then with rack position I will say its a bit more comfortable to sit with it on your chest with a 10in log but you start with your press much lower. With a 12in log your almost starting to press from where your nose would be so its a much shorter press therefore a stronger press unless you have horrible lockout power.
So all in all a 10" in my opinion and most of the people I have talked to about it will agree a 10in log is a bit harder to use just because of all the extra movement of the lift from start to finish.

YOU WHAT? What next are you going to start doing max effort curls in the squat rack ;)? Anyway, nice pressing.[/quote]
Lol what do you mean I always curl in the Squat Rack its how I got these not sl impressive Guns.
But, seriously though if putting Squatting off 1 day means I get a chance to learn from Sam Byrd I have no problem with that at all lol if you don’t know who he is look him up and you will understand.
