Recovery Time

Jim I been going hard and heavy for years with no break and now my body is breaking down and a shoulder injury what would you recommend as far as time off to heal up

Have you tried doing the diesel crew shoulder rehab protocol? Works wonders.

The answer is too subjective without knowing what the injury is. I’m pretty sure the advice is “train what is trainable” and work on fixing what needs it.

Get assessed. Make plan to get healthy. Do that plan.
Once healthy, make goals. Then make plan to reach goals. Do plan.

That’s about as simple as it gets. Problem is this:

Plans usually suck.
Goals seem good but heart isn’t truly into it. You should be willing to die for your goals. Of at least do what is necessary to reach goals. I don’t believe in “asterisk” goals.
