Recovery, Time Off or Calories?

I just started a fat loss diet at BWX14 (230X14=3220).

Today I went to do a heavy chest and back training session, but, unfortunately, my back wasn’t recovered from my previous week’s training yet. I gave it five days to recover, but that wasn’t quite enough.

Should I continue my diet at a caloric deficit and give my back another week to recover, or should I go on a slightly above maintenance intake diet until my back is fully recovered?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated :slight_smile:
