I wanted to write in and get some advice and much needed motivation. Back in mid December I got really sick and was rushed to the ER. It has been almost 6 months and all the doctors are still not 100% sure what is happening to me. Prior to this nightmare I was a firefighter with a major department and in incredible shape.
I’m only 5’7 but could easily keep up with the big dogs and was also in incredible cardio shape. I have been unable to workout and worse than that I get these violent muscle contractions/spasms that are basically eating away what I spent so many years earning. Well there might finally be some light at the end of the tunnel and getting back into the gym is my first priority.
I guess I am just going to have to accept what has happened and humble myself to starting over. I can’t explain how agonizing this has been. Any suggestions? I know that I am going to have to start slow but I am really counting on muscle memory to speed up my new gains. Thanks for the support. Stay low-
Take it slow and stay positive!
only thing i can say is check your ego at the door, i remember the first few sessions back after i hurt my shoulder last year, it was embarrassing, i had gone from benching 100kg, too doing 22.5kg, it took about a month or two and i was back to where i started
Now that I have been diagnosed and begun treatment there is really no chance of a relapse. I know it is going to be slow and frustrating especially that first time back. I have never done any kind of cycle but am really looking into it to help gain back my lost size and strength. I have been doing a lot of research in the forums but does anyone have any suggestions? I have been looking at tren but am not sure if I should stack it with test or something else. Thanks for any advice-
