Recovering from injury for football

Hi, im an 18 year old college football player and im going to reporting to camp on August 28. I tore my articulate cartilage and have not been able to run for the past 5 weeks. the first two weeks i was bike riding every day for about forty five minutes. The second two weeks i had my knee scoped and really didnt do anything. The last week i have been doing anerobic workouts in the morning, ie sprints on a special treadmill that takes weight off, boxing, and aerobic at night, intense bike riding and swimming. Im also doing weight training four days a week. Because of the lack of exercise that ive been able to do, ive gained about 7 pounds of fat that i dont need. I weigh about 235 and realisticly want to weigh 230 and be in the best shape possible considering my situation. Can i maybe use the t-dawg diet for first two weeks or so to try to cut the fat or should i modify it to my needs? Any help would be appreciated i dont really know how to handle all this.Im in a bad situation and trying to be prepared as possible for doubles.
thanks guys
