Hi everyone
I’m interested in setting up a home gym.
Any recommendations for a bar that’ll get a lot of general use, including Olympic variations.
Thanks for input

Well if you are on any kind of budget I’ve heard good things about the rogue ohio bar, i think it runs about $220 or so. A texas power bar would be a little more but I have personally used those a lot and for the price they are an exceptional piece of equipment.
What’s your price range? I picked up a Pendley HD bar w/ 185k in bumpers from MuscleDriver USA for about $1,400.

A little stiff for the olympic variations, although I think you’d probably have to be a very accomplished O-lifter to notice a difference

Hi everyone. Thanks for the replies. I’m going to look into these recommendations.
My preference is to spend less money if possible, not the least money possible though. I’m looking for most bang for the buck.
I appreciate all your help.
I got the Rogue Beater Bar, its a bit less $$ than the regular rogue bar and a tad bit thicker (31mm vs 28.5 … doesn’t sound like much but it does feel different, and for heavier deads it will affect your grip a tiny bit)
I was a bit “worried” at first of the quality, but I really like. Its a great, great bar.
I own a Jessup power bar. I’m happy with it. It cost $190 delivered 10 years ago. It is slightly thicker than a traditional texas power bar. I don’t o-lift; the collars spin, but I don’t know if that is enough for the o-lifts.
Rogue bars can be expensive but they’re good. A Texas bar is also a good choice.
