I’ve been told this is ridiculously good, we’ll see.
I am a big fan of Flying Dog brews. Their pale ale is outstanding.

They are definitely one of the best East Coast brewers outside of New England.

OP: Did you have your party? Did you meet any goals?
I sincerely apologize but no party. Well not one to the standards of Belgian hookers and cocaine. Just a few good friends, family, piles of ribs, grilled salmon, and some pretty good beer. It was a good time, and the good news is the wound is almost closed. As long as I can keep it to stay that way.

Testy- yeah sam adams is probably going to be my “safety” beer for when I go out.

Also to whoever recommended leinenkugel, I got the summer shandy and it was quite good. I also got an assorted twelve pack from cisco brewers out of nantucket. Had pale ale, IPA, lager, and another one that tasted like blue moon. They were all pretty good and it was nice to finally know the difference between different brews.

Love me some Sam Adams. Very light on the old palate

Currently sipping on a Blue Moon. A fascinating little beer. Tastes like a more mellow version of Hoegaarden with quite a kick!

I thought I mentioned this earlier but maybe not. Blue moon is probably my favorite beer. Absolutely great stuff

On a side note I had some harpoon with a buddy yesterday. Pretty good stuff. I really want to go to the brewery in Boston and check it out.

Have to say the ol’ dirtpipe is on full throttle today. Must be all that wheat!

haha no worries. Sorry to hear that

One of the best I’ve had that I usually get at a Polish restaurant I go to frequently is Zywiec.

I was recently in the Boston area, and I had the pleasure of drinking Berkshire Brewing Company’s Coffeehouse Porter on nitro draft. I’m not the biggest beer guy, but this was by far my favorite.

This beer flys in the face of everything the OP asked for, but considering the thread is here shortly after I enjoyed the hell out of this, I must post for the porters and stouts among us.

Never had it and it like you said, doesn’t seem to be up my alley. However, the fact that I live in the Berkshires makes me approve.

I’ll have to find a local beer you would enjoy so we can start a beer exchange.

I want more of it!

Founders brewery in Michigan has some great beer. Dirty Bastard is our favorite. Its dark and strong.

Never had a founders I didn’t like. Their Porter is particularly tasty.

Just wanted to say I just had a couple yuengling Black and Tans. Quite good

If you like Chimay Red you would love the Belgian ale I just bottled. I will definitely be making this recipe again.

This is actually my favorite beer, but it’s hard to find around here.
