I just started this workout and WOW. This is going to be a killer I think. So far so good. Looking forward to some good gains.
After reading a lot, I will try the workout described in “Bodybuilding’s Next Frontier - The Waterbury High Frequency System” by Chad Waterbury

2 workouts per day will be very tough later on. But if gains are so spectacular, I will be motivated to leave everything else and do it.
If anybody is familiar with the program…
On day2 my quads were sore from yesterday’s (day1) squats. My performance at DL was terrible.
The program called for 3x12 reps @ 14RM.
My 5RM for DL is about 140 kgr. So I figured my 14RM would be around 110 kgr.
I managed to do 9x110, 8x100 and 7x90 kgr, trying to avoid failure. When I was starting the sets, I still had heavy breathing from the previous work. So completing 12 DL reps under these conditions was very tough for me.
Is it me? Do I need cardio?
My only excuse is that I practiced only sets of 5 reps for the last 1 year. I never did more than 7 reps in a DL set before.
