Recomend a Good Multi

I think they’re over rated.

Every time I take them, I seem to piss most of them out, and never felt or performed any different, even with long-term use, and with expensive brands.

Get your vitamins from meat, fruit and vegetables.

Huh? Have you been smoking something? Can we help you?

Nutrilite Double X

Would it be safe for me to chew a centrum, even though it doesn’t say chewable, or could there possibly be throat burn or something?

I think it would be safe, but it would probably taste bad.

Isn’t that the stuff marketed by Quixtar?

Nate, I used to take double x about 15 years ago-outstanding stuff and very high quality. Back then it was about $30 for a 1 month supply, whats it cost now?

Damn. That was a good deal! If you’re a member of Quixtar, you’re monthly cost is about $55 (I’d have to check prices to be sure) for the Nurtilite Double X.

However, they sell a more “general” multi that is less than $28 and will last two or three months.

The Double X is truly a high quality multi. It’s not cheap, but those who have used it for any length of time swear by it. A friend of mine who introduced Quixtar to me has been using the Double X vitamins for more than 20 years. He’s 45, and he looks younger than me and is in very good shape. He attributes it to the vitamins, and I definitely believe it. They make you feel different almost immediately upon using.

when you shit out the centrum, you can still see the C. That should tell you something about how much of it digests.

Activite by MHP…Check the label, best bar-none…

Cooper complete has got to be one of the best out there.

i remember the stories of all the small plastic looking balls found in the bottom of septic tanks after cleaning were centrums. i think a decent quality multi will dissolve in a glass water in 20mins, but im no scientist…

Can anyone tell me how HOT-ROX is anticatabolic and by what physiologic mechanism?

Super Nutrition Opti-Pak.

I think that I will buy a cheap multi, and possible take two a day. I need to buy some more ZMA when it comes back in stock, so I don’t want to spend too much all at once. I will make my way through the cheap multi, and if I am still single at that point in time (not spending money on women…) I will plunk down the money on animal pak, or ammunition.

I have read what I can on it (animale pak), and it seems half of the people like it, half hate it. So I suppose that spending 25 dollars or so isn’t a big investment for something that works for SOME people. Protein powder, fish oil and ZMA costs enough monthly to prevent me from spending TOO much on things that aren’t proven. When I was on a multi, I didn’t notice a speck of difference, but it was a cheap multi. Anyways, thank you all for your advice.[/quote]

You can save on the cost of ZMA by just getting some magnesium malate (any of the ones that end in -ate are good), some b6, and some zinc picolinate supplements. I am taking the exact same shit that is in ZMA, in the exact same quantities, for HALF the price.

Considering that it is something I’ll probably be taking forever, those savings add up.

I am not sure wether thats a good plan or not. If I ate eggs, water, milk, flour and cherries seperate, I would have the components of a cherry pie, but it still wouldn’t be.

ZMA is around 33 cents a day. That is a really good deal, I have been taking ZMA for a while now and it has made me feel so much better. I just hope it comes back in stock before the free bar deal is gone and before I run out of ZMA.
