Recipe Thread

While there are various schools of thought about the keto-type diets and how many carbs to eat while bulking, I think most everyone seems to agree with JB’s wisdom concerning not mixing high fat and high carbs. Given that, would anyone be kind enough to share some good P+C and P+F recipes? Culinary professionals and amateurs alike please contribute. I feel like I’m in a food rut lately, and if I don’t get something to eat that doesn’t taste like cottage cheese or Chicken of the Sea tuna I may order Papa John’s. Thanks.

Tuna with relish. There’s a little carbs in the relish, but damn its good.

I was thinking of starting a thread like such as you started… ok here is my contribution:

Uncle Freebie’s half crazy half insane maniacal anti catabolic anabolic stew of DOOM!

This is a pretty simple recipie for a stew, but tastes aight, most of the time is spent waiting for it to cook, preparation time… acutal work I would put at 10 mins. Not too bad eh?

go to store…

buy some meat that is cut up into little squares (called stew beef or beef stew or something) alt: buy veal, buy pork cut up into lil square pieces.

wash meat, throw on some spices, roll pieces of meat on plate with some flour on it till they nice and white, put some oil on frying pan or what not, put meat dealies onto frying pan, flip em over a few times while they fryingpan themselves on semi low heat, throw meats into pot, put water in pot (till water covers meat a bit), heat on medium for 50mins-1hr, meanwhile you can sitr in more spieces or some a1 steak sauce or other sauces as you see fit (easy on the sauces since they contain carbs).

Turn off the gas and let sit for like 10-15 mins (taking em out too soon will make em dry as toast and without much flavour).

I suxor at cooking (just need more practice…), the first time it tasted dry and without much taste… the 2nd time (yesterday) it tasted like victory. Serving size: figure .5lbs per 100lbs of man/woman. Enjoy… all of my cooking prepareations don’t include much veggies so I’m looking for some easy, low fuss low muss veggie creations. Roxor on!

I got this off another site a while back, and it doesn’t taste like tuna or cottage cheese. It’s actually a really good P+C dinner.

Mustard Kabobs

RECIPE INGREDIENTS

Lemon Juice 2 tablespoon (or lime juice)

Sugar (Brown) 2 teaspoon

Chicken (Thigh Fillets) 600 g cut into 2.5cm strips (you can use beef or pork too, for variety)

Grainy Mild Mustard 2 tablespoon

Yoghurt (low fat) 0.5 cup

RECIPE STEPS

Combine all ingredients except chicken. Pour over chicken, turning to coat
both sides of chicken. Leave, covered, in refrigerator, for an hour, or
longer.

Thread chicken onto 8 bamboo skewers (soaked in water before use to prevent
them burning). Grill gently, brushing with marinade, for 8-10 minutes,
turning once or twice. Serve with salads or vegetables.
