Here’s a video I took earlier today. I give my commentary during it, but I’ll say again this is a line of about 20 people or morew waiting for the elevator at a department store. This store is about 8 or 9 storeys and there are working escalators inside! The sign that you can see with 15 on it says the wait for the elevator is about 15 minutes.

Those lazy fuckers probably feel that they’ve earned their place on line. You could have verbally abused them collectively and I’ll bet not one of them would have left their precious spot to come after you.
This was just a good video, but the use of “holy smokes!” at the end made it great.

I noticed something similar when I was going to school. I lived in a building that housed primarily foreign students, and the asian ones would always be taking the elevator to go up to the 2nd or 3rd floor, and they would wait for however long it would take the elevator to open.
Never could understand it.

If the guy that programmed the PLC/elevator has any idea what he’s doing, they could just walk to the second floor and stop the elevator on the way up.
It’s strange isn’t it? Brits seem to love queuing for no good reason too. For example, I was at a bus station a few weeks ago, and there was a long queue of people for a particular stand. Other people started joining the queue, and it started to stretch back a long way. I just waited to one side and, as I suspected, when the bus arrived most of them realised they’d been waiting around for nothing. They just joined it because it was there. Idiots.

Haha…well if most of them are going to the 7th or 8th floor I wouldnt trash em. I have to go up 6 flights to get to my first class and if its really cold or raining then fuck im taking the elevator and walking inside the buildings the easy way.
