Realistic TRT Recomp Progress

Test and mast are combined. My wife pins my glutes for me. If she isn’t around then I pin at the top of my quad. Its 2 mLs

Do you go to the quad because the gH goes into the shoulder? I’ve never tried the quad but for some reason that freaks me out more than shoulder. I find the glute injections too difficult on my own due to the twisting motion.

The quad is only a back up for when my wife isnt around to pin me. For the GH, shoulders are least painful and easy enough to pin a water based solution. I doubt I could pin oil in my shoulders by my self.

What makes you think that? I haven’t had any issues with injecting T into delts. Some folks are anti-quad injections – like Palumbo – because of all the nerves. That’s what freaks me out.

Mostly lack of flexibilty in my shoulders. I’ve had 3 RC surgeries and my shoulders are tight. Its hard to get perpendicular with a needle long enough to inject.

This is where I pin. No blood and no nerves (when compared to the lower quad)

Seems reasonable to me, though my knowledge of injection sites is limited. Maybe I’ll give that a shot.

I see what you did there

I really like this thread

Found a perfect way to time up the T3 this morning: took my dose, went back to bed, had some morning sex, and it was time for coffee. Yeeeeeah buddy!

As a lifting nerd, I’ve enjoyed the recent volume vs. intensity discussion on YouTube. Just watched the ‘debate’ between Mike Israetel and Greg Doucette, and man, Mike made him look like an ass clown.

It became painfully clear that one is an educator and the other is merely an entertainer. I’ll now be taking Greg’s advice with a grain of salt. When he wasn’t able to just rant into a camera unchecked, he came off as a meathead who has no idea what he’s talking about.

It’s that time of the month in my household… And I thought it was “done” today. I tried this morning and got the “that thing still has no vacancy - occupied” response.

Guess I’ll wait another couple of days before giving it another go…:frowning:

Nice work fellas… No better way to start the day.

Fuck all of you. My wife has been stressed and shut down since Thanksgiving.

IUD ftw. There are no off days. Or at least no more than one or two every few months.

And we’ve only been married like 4 months so it’s still expected, haha

I’m honestly not a huge fan of it because I’m always really sleepy for hours after but I’m not going to be turning her down after I mentioned it last night and she tried this morning, so I guess I’ll take one for the team

One thing I’ve noticed since starting T is that it seems I last longer than I did before. Might be in my head.

Have any of you had kids since starting TRT? That’s the next step for us. I know there are mixed anecdotes out there. We aren’t actively trying yet but I’m curious if I’ll need to do HCG or an HMG restart to get my stuff working when we do. Or maybe I’ll be surprised and just get the wife pregnant out of the blue!

It definitely does make you comatose for a bit. It’s like kryptonite…yet SO worth it and still such a good feeling afterward, like when you’re dead after crushing a workout.

Do you plan to eventually remove it?
