It seems counterintuitive to me – I can’t think of another medication that comes with a prompt to avoid water – but I’m completely new to this.
If personally start with 2x a day like you have it scheduled… Just to see how to feel/react to the meds. Start small, find out what your minimum effective dose is. 2x a day might be it from the start, but you can always go up from there.
@bkb333, I think @dextermorgan has posted a link before to a scale he’s used in the past when breaking his AI up to micro dose when he took one. Maybe a precise scale could help?
Your wife sounds funny. Did you snort it?
I agree. They only thing that is said is that certain things interfere with maximum absorption, not that those things prevent absorption. I’ve taken mine with food, with drinks, within 30 minutes of those things, etc… If you are consistent and mindful of taking it within your windows the best you can, some deviation won’t be an issue and it will all average out in the end. It’s a really long marathon.
It’s killing me only lifting four days a week. On rest days like today, I just want to get after the iron!
I’m starting to understand why this strategy is so effective. During these rest periods, I’m already thinking about tomorrow’s bench/OHP/row workout…visualizing how intensely I’m going to attack each set. Thinking about how I’m going to grind out one more rep when my body says I’m at ‘failure.’
Whereas if you work out every day, no matter how much you care, it’s ‘just another workout’ – that mentality is inevitable. Training should be a treat.
She is – and truly an incredible person all-around. I can’t express how supportive she’s been through this whole thing. She’s never questioned me spending money on medications, going off during gatherings to pin myself, etc. She’s just been empathetic.
I can’t imagine doing something like this without a significant other who’s totally in your corner. It’s really got to be a team effort.
I don’t want it to get diluted. Take it without and then take it with and let me know if you feels a Difference. I’m taking a different medicine and it might have different absorption.
Yeah closer to summer. I’ve been drinking too much lately but after the holidays I’m going to give myself about 3 months of no alcohol or going out and then I’ll try it.
Yes food & coffee.
Definitely keep me posted on how that goes. Will you be able to get it prescribed or go off-market? Any idea how much you’ll take?
You’re smart for getting your shit together before hopping on. I can’t believe how many guys get on gear in the midst of a terrible lifestyle. Makes no sense.
@bkb333
Prescribed. Yeah you’ve got to be smart about it. Plus I want to get leaner before I take anything. I’m going to post a log pretty soon with my TRT journey and the addition of a recomp progress report.
Good stuff, looking forward to checking that out. It’s great to be able to learn from guys in similar situations to your own.
Day 1 on Cytomel
I only took it this morning, 1/3 of a 25 mg pill (so, roughly 8 mg). Dr.'s instructions were to start by taking it once per day, so I thought I’d try that out.
I have noticed slightly more energy than usual today. Nothing crazy, but I’ve had a little more juice and been in a slightly better mood than normal. Very subtle. I haven’t felt a dip throughout the day, though I didn’t take more in the afternoon.
I am debating whether I should stick with this once-per-day approach for a little while before switching to multiple dosings. Dr’s orders were to do it once per day for the first week, then double it up for the second. Thoughts?
Just eye it. It’s not that bad. Or cut it in half and just take it twice daily.
@bkb333 just take it early am and mid day and just forget about the third since the pill is not easily dividable. This way by the time 6-7pm comes around you’ll be having less energy and sleeps no issue.
Call the doctor and ask for a third dose in the day If you need more and notice a big drop versus the morning midday energy feel.
You’ll know what I mean when it starts working just keep us posted.
How long did it take before you started to feel it working?
Day 2 on Cytomel
I took the remaining 2/3 of the first capsule (so, roughly 16 mg) this morning. Same deal as yesterday: slightly more energy, slightly better mood, but nothing too noticeable. Probably just placebo.
The pill splitter won’t arrive for a couple days, but tomorrow I plan to take a full 25 mg, biting the pill in half (AM/PM).
All the SQ pinning (between T every morning and Ipamorelin every PM) is really getting old. Several black and blue marks, and that area is always sore. The T in particular is tough because it takes so long to push out of the syringe, and my daily dose (36 mg) is pretty big for SQ.
I won’t be on Ipamorelin forever – probably another month-ish before I run out – but I’m still debating switching the T to IM injections. I did IM into the delts last time I was doing ED.
It’s not like I’m feeling amazing, but I don’t want to risk messing anything up. I don’t think I’d really notice a difference going SQ to IM, though.
I pin GH every morning. In the lower part of the shoulder. I don’t mess with trying for subQ, I just stick it in there. (1/2" 31 gauge insulin pins). Hasn’t been too much of a hardship.
How about your T pinning regimen?
Twice a week. Blasting right now with 500 Test and 200 Masteron/week
Same deal, with the lower part of the shoulder? Do you do both the T and Masteron in the same syringe? Sounds like a lot to be injecting for each shot.
