That’s good to know. Did she have one of the newer versions? I’d assume battery life is best with the newest options, so I might pay more for a better option (though I’m frugal to a fault, so that would pain me). It’s a pain to keep devices charged, especially when they’re supposed to be tracking your activity all day.
I’m not sure, but they’ve always been just barely enough battery to get through a full day for most people. If you aren’t using it for texts/emails/etc maybe you may get a little more, but it won’t be 2 or 3 days IMO, regardless of the version. Apple’s “goal” is 18 hours of battery life
Yeah mine usually have 20-50% or so left but yeah you charge it while you sleep so you lose that data.
I was the same at first but then you start to rely on it. I have expensive watches I havent worn in years.
Man, that seems to defeat much of the purpose. I really want the sleep data. Seems like a bug they’ve gotta fix.
More like a gap they will fill with another device.
Shredding tip: if you’re trying to lose body fat, artificial sweeteners are your friend.
I used to be super paranoid about them, thinking the chemicals would give me cancer. I’ve looked into the research and really think you’d have to go way overboard to cause any harmful effects. It’s not worth stressing about.
I’m a big fan of Walden Farms syrups and Mio/Crystal Light flavoring for water, among other things. Simple way to save calories and make your food taste good while dieting.
I have a few packets of Splenda daily in my oats. I was using honey too but it makes me gassy and added unnecessary calories. I also have 1 artificially sweetened energy drink a day.
I see no issue at all with that. Walden Farms is great, too – the pancake syrup one is awesome in oats.
Someone explain to me how NFL QBs are the size that they are. Josh Allen and Carson Wentz are both 6’5", 240.
Yet neither seems to have notable muscle mass, and obviously they aren’t fat. I know they’re tall, but how is that possible? Just a ton of weight in the lower body we can’t see?
They have more lean mass than you think. Once guys get above about 6’ it becomes a lot harder to look jacked. There’s just more skeleton to spread the muscle over.
This is why someone the size of Hafthor Bjornsson is outrageous. Olivier Richters might as well be another species. He has to set alarms in the middle of the night to wake up and feed.
You’re definitely right – for example, they have pretty lower bodies. It’s just unbelievable to me when I see the size of their arms that these guys are so damn heavy. They also seem to carry a decent amount of fat (nothing crazy, but definitely some chub) over the top of it.
I am not sure I would admit this… To each his own I guess.
Lmao, typing too fast! *pretty big

Randomly found a photo of myself from 2012, when I first got into fitness. I had cut down through Insanity, felt like a beast (lol), and was flexing as hard as I possibly could (not to mention sweaty post-workout). I was about 160 lbs and, I’d guess, 17% BF.
This was pretty encouraging, because if I were at 17% now, I’d probably be 190 – so that means I’ve added about 30 lbs LBM in the past eight years. It’s not amazing, but it’s progress! If I could get another 30 in the next eight, that would be incredible.
Leg mass would be the case for me. I’m 5’ 10" and 175 at somewhere in the mid-low teens as far as body fat, and I think most people would be shocked to hear that I weight that much.
Curious to see where TRT gets me!
That’s gotta be a lynchpin for these QBs. I have the opposite situation – I’m the same weight and people are usually surprised to hear I’m not 200ish.
Do not look at TSH brother. Get free t3 and reverse t3 checked. RT3 especially if you are doing any type of carb reduction diets. You might have normal ft3 levels, but the reverse t3 is negating its effect.
That thyroid being out of whack causes the worse fatigue I have ever experienced. Please get that asap bro. If you need thyroid you will notice a different fairly quick and you’ll enjoy the benefits as well.
I mean if my TSH is just at 1.2 my t3 and rt3 can still be fucked? Thanks
Yup TSH is a shitty indicator.
