Realistic TRT Recomp Progress

Experiment commencing in 3…2…

Let’s see if this bad boy really torches belly fat like some say. I’m on a mini cut at the moment at 2350 kcal. Will likely taper down to 2000 in the next month.

Yah I I don’t see any reason to worry as long as you’re taking a dose that your body needs and not too much. Some guys just have A higher hematocrit as well .

Upper range used to be Upper range used to be 52 then 50 for now it’s down to 54, 52 then 50,. This should tell us that the population is getting sicker if they have less oxygen in the blood, and this should not be attributed to every man in the United State. Exactly the same things happening with testosterone lab ranges it was 1500 then 1280 or sometthing and now it’s down to 900 something. Really sad if you ask me

Bro Weren’t you just having problems with your symptoms? I Wouldn’t be doing anything and I would simply enjoy feeling healthy and normal.

I definitely hear you but haven’t read anything about Tesamorelin impacting libido or sense of well-being. I don’t think it’ll have any impact in that regard. I wouldn’t play with anything that would be impacting T, E, SHBG, etc right now, but this is unrelated as far as I know.

I’ve been reading up lately on Tadalafil (Cialis). Taken at a consistent low dose, it seems to have strong health and well-being promoting effects. I’m considering asking my provider about it at my next visit.

@bkb333
Dude Cialis is nuts. I have compounded 20mg Tadalafil that I kept on hand from when I was switching protocols and had no libido for periods of time. I took one the other day for the hell of it. This is crazy and warning may be a little graphic… I pounded this chick and after I finished and didn’t pull out I was ready to start again less than a min later and after that time I started again a min later again. Three times with basically no rest in between. Granted the next day I felt like I fucked a cheese grater but that’s not the point. That shit is amazing and I’ve never done that before. Other than that I don’t feel anything different except gym pumps were a little more noticeable that day.

Haha, if only it didn’t make my d numb it’d be awesome. I occasionally take a crumb of Viagra for a little extra but that’s about all I can handle until I get to dextermorgan’s level

Also, weren’t you supposed to make a dexter’s skanks thread? :man_shrugging:

I take 5mg daily. It’s expensive at that dose from a pharmacy, so my doc sent a script to a compounding pharmacy for 4mg, but it was still $130 for a 90 day supply.

Recently, @charlie16 suggested good rx. I had my doctor send a script to a local stop and shop for a 90 day supply of 5mg…retail was 1200, with good rx I paid $34.

I don’t ever see myself not using it.

What advantages do you get from 5mg daily Cialis?

20 mg?! Daaaaamn. That sounds like a wild time, lmao.

LOL, that’s hilarious! I had a similar experience. I was talking to a coworker one day when I was 44. He was a short guy, around 5’7" maybe, bald except for a completely gray monks ring around the sides and back of his head, a noticeable paunch, and sagging jowls and loose skin on his neck. I thought he was around 60. So he starts talking about different TV shows and movies he watched and liked growing up and it’s all the same ones that I remembered. Then he stops me and asks, “Wait, how old are you?” When I told him 44 he was shocked. He thought I was in my mid-30s. It turns out he was 46! Damn, I had to bite my tongue not to say that I thought he was 60 or so. He looked like he’d been rode hard and put away wet.

That’s a good question @dextermorgan - when I started TRT, I had trouble maintaining and erection no matter what the occasion was. I was also a mental wreck because of it and that caused a very bad negative feedback loop in my brain.

I feel like it helps with my erections…but I suppose I’m not 100% sure that’s the case.

However, whatever is happening with me right now, whether it’s the increased free T, tadalifil or a combo of both… I’m feeling the best I’ve ever felt physically and mentally. Confidence in the bedroom has never been higher in the last 15 years.

It’s taken me a long time to get here, and it very well might not do what I think it’s doing since my FT is higher now, but I’m willing to pay the $12 extra a month for that peace of mind.

My doc likes me to take because it is supposed to protect the prostate and keeping the blood pressure lower. I know it is supposed to help with BPH, not sure if it really protects it or not. I only wanted to take it for the pump in the gym and help with the blood pressure. My arms feel harder all the time now and in the gym they can get painful from the pump. Not sure about the blood pressure yet.

20mg would probably put me in tears. When I first started taking it I was getting such bad heartburn it was waking me up at night. I had to cut down to 2.5 mg for a week or two and work up to 5. I still get it a little, but not as bothersome, I would imagine I would feel like I was having a heart attack at 20 mg.

Same here - a 90 days supply of 5mg tadalifil is $38 through GoodRx at my local pharmacy. Can’t beat that deal. Never tried 20mg though. Might be worth a try just to see though. I’ve never experienced any side effects from it unless you consider more boners a side effect. LOL

Man, that is one incredible price. I asked my doc if I can get a prescription. I don’t really see why he’d say no…haven’t read about any downsides.

Dude I’m so happy to hear that! I know exactly how that feels especially after going a while not feeling ideal. Reading that really makes my day and puts a smile on my face. I love hearing about people figuring their shit out and getting to that place they thought was no longer a reality. So happy for you!

It’s a compounded combo of 20mg Tadalafil and 10mg Viagra in each pill lol.

My options are 3 mg or 7 mg (daily) – what do you think I should go with?

Personally, I’d go with 7… But I sort of always think more is better.
