I don’t know, I think there is alot more to defining a man than the clothing they wear. I have been considered pretty manly because I possess manly things (deep voice, built physique, big hands, a swagger/confidence when handling shit, probably one of the last guys to get fucked with in a room, etc.)
Masculinity (as well as femininity) is not a look, it’s an attitude.

dude, a lot of those guys get hated on because they make progress.
They aren’t going to win any BB shows, but shit, they look hella better than most people on the internet who bash them.

I unno, I think the majority of the male population might do good if they’d live GTL for six months. All these pasty white slobs that stink to high heaven because their mamas don’t do their laundry no more.

Agreed bro, and I dress the same as them, nothing like an Affliction or Armani Tee, some fresh Nikes or Jordans, and LRG Jeans. Fresh. to. death.[/quote]
Nikes/Jordans = Pumas/New Balance
LRG Jeans= H&M/Zara
Affliction/Armani = Metropark/Forever21

Wow that was gay.

According to the world of fashion, men who have some heft and look older than 15 are now the in thing in fashion. Perhaps that marks the end of skinny jeans.

I really wouldn’t put the tool-factor of Affliction on the same level as Forever21, lol

This is true, within certain limits.
Sometimes I lift at a university gym, where there a lot of young kids (i.e., to me, under 25 = young kid). A lot of those guys have legs about the size of my arms. Sorry, but regardless of you’re attitude, you can’t pull off “manly” when you have chicken legs. Even worse if those chicken legs are shrink-wrapped in skinny jeans!
For that matter, skinny chicken legs on a chick, while perhaps more appropriate, is not attractive. Forget fashionable clothes or even GTL… I think BOTH sexes need more squats and milk!

Who cares what the media or anyone else says is fashionable or manly.
Work hard, play hard, be responsible, and treat your neighbor like you want to be treated… and wear whatever the fuck you want. I may not choose what Austin chooses to wear, but at least he’s man enough to be himself.
If I’d have taken certain advices in my life, I’d be wearing polo shirts, beige slacks, Italian loafers, short hair, … and I’d be taller. However I’m a jeans and t-shirts longhaired dude.
