Always a little scary when that shit flares up, but at least you have an idea what’s going on now. Sounds like you are in good hands. Heal up quick.
Sounds like you are in good hands Jack. Hope the inflammation goes away quickly and you can get back at it.
Oh. Backs are the worst. Definitely take it easy and be conservative with this.
say it aint so, feel for you, brother. Hope you get right real soon!
My big boy Dempsey would have been 12 today, but Yesterday we put him down. He is the big one in my avatar. He had a neurological problem with his hind legs and for the last 6 months or so and couldn’t really climb stairs. The last few weeks he couldn’t really even walk on the flats and he had real struggles just relieving himself. I had to carry him everywhere, but I didn’t mind, other than I knew he didn’t want to be carried. Friday he starting crying and barking which he never does and Yesterday, my 6-year old commented that he was suffering and I decided it was time. The vet did a great job and he went peacefully but it was still awful.
He was my space shuttle dog. I picked him up in Nacogdoches, Texas, the day after the space shuttle went down and the family/breeder had a few pieces of the shuttle in their back yard. It was a six hour drive to get him and I drove most of the night through the twisties and back roads in toolie fog with him in my lap on the way home. I have more stories than I can count with that dog and I won’t write them here, but suffice to say he was my best friend and I am really sad.
Sorry…they don’t speak our language but somehow they touch our souls!
Sorry for your loss.
Sorry man. I had to do the same thing with our 15 year old lab a couple months ago. He was the same age as my son, and they grew up together.
Sorry Jack. I’ve had dogs all my life and losing one is always extremely difficult.
Condolences as well from up North. Had to put down one dog and one cat in the last 4 months. Craptastic.
Sorry to hear JK. I’ve had dogs most of my life. Had very strong bonds with a few. Always a tough decision.
Hi Gunner. Happy Thanksgiving Jack.
No training in about two weeks. I’m going to get back on the horse this weekend. Thanks for all the well-wishes folks, I appreciate it.
Sorry to hear about Dempsey, Jack. Is it my imagination, or does Gunnar look a lot like him?
Hope you had a great Thanksgiving.
I’m sorry to hear about Dempsey, the new puppy is adorable.
Sorry to hear about your loss Jack…also sorry about your back, my fingers are crossed! I am happy that you are seeing someone who is privy to your lifting passion and understands how our minds work.
