Hey everyone, I was just wondering how quickly one should be gaining strength when weight training. Personally, I’m 17 and have only been lifting for a few months, but my numbers in every lift have skyrocketed. Right now I’m gaining 5-10 pounds on my main exercises every week without exception. Is this normal, and if so, for how long do you think I’ll gain at this rate?
Here are my stats if it make any difference. 6’ tall, 175 lb bodyweight, 405 squat, 365 deadlift, 245 bench. Also, my dad was a nationally ranked sprinter if genetics play a factor.
