I went from ~100lbs to 170lbs, gaining mostly muscle, since high school.

You weighed 100 pounds in high school???..is…that…possible. Anyone else wanna call bullshit on that.

Believe it or not, it’s true. I have a pic of me in high school, but it was after I started lifting, I think. I need to scan it. I probably weighed ~115lbs in that pic.

BTW, do you have pics of muscleshark? I need a good laugh.
Yeah I could link you to his pics, but honestly that’s not fair for me to post pics of someone else without there permission, well maybe I don’t care too much. Maybe if he pisses enough people off

(You would however, get a good laugh outta it)

wow, that was just great, destroyed by a bunch of 15 year old Flex readers.

And please burn the posing suit, you will never need it, you will never compete, you need to get it out of your house so you will never again be tempted to put it on.

p.s im starting to think those might be fake plates in your lifting vids.

Great photos of the weasel at bodyrecomposition.com in the powerlifting section.

This is just my opinion as someone who deadlifts heavy without need for belt(so far).
I’m not attempting to disqualify your methods as “the wrong way”, I’m just offering some insight.

I’m actually curious, MetalFuel. How much do you deadlift? I’m only asking because I want to know if it is possible to deadlift triple bodyweight (like D.W.) WITHOUT a belt WITHOUT injuring yourself.

I had the same mentality as you and paid for it with a back that stayed injured for a year. I don’t know anybody and have never seen anybody who doesn’t deadlift around that much weight without a belt. Thanks.
Agree. The anti-belt stuff here is just silly.

Anyone who’s so much as ATTEMPTED a 3x bw deadlift is more than welcome to offer an opinion, or even a bit of friendly sniping, on the matter. But that leaves the OP and Eric Cressey, so far as I can think of. Apologies and all due propers to anyone whom I missed. You da man.

In fact here is a video clip of a 625 lb pull. (I hope he doesn’t mind me posting it here.) I realize it’s probably not 3x bw – I would guess he weighs somewhere around 250 or so – but it is a 600+ deadlift with no belt.

Thanks for the link to the video. I’m not concerned with lifting poundage as much as how proportional the weight lifted is to the lifter. So I believe that larger lifters can pull around 500 without a belt, but I don’t know if a smaller lifter could pull the same number without a belt. I’m interested because I would rather lift without a belt, it’s more comfortable for me, but I don’t want to sacrifice my back again.

Again, I don’t know how much Jan(the guy in the video) weighs, but if he is around 250, that’s 2.5x bw pull. I’m sure someone that I lift with does a 3x pull. Like I said, I don’t know everybody’s weight. Hell, within 8-10 months, I hope I’m hitting a 3x pull.

Anyway, I’m neither pro- nor anti-belt. I think it comes down to preference. Most of the people I lift with don’t use belts and until this year, had never even owned a belt. In fact, I got it for a strongman competition earlier this year and I didn’t even like using it. I’m just not used to using one.

Anyway, since I’m rambling on here about nothing, my point is that I definitely think is possible to pull 3x bw without a belt and stay injury-free. I hope that I can soon post a video of myself doing it. At the same time, if one feels comfortable and safer with the belt, then he should use it. Preferences.

LMFAO! Again, it’s rate my physique not rate my lifts.
3x BW pull=10+
physique=4-5

lol some comments from the bb.com forum …

and…

oh, this is post #66

so … as a joke, you ordered and payed for the man thong, waited for it to arrive and then took pictures of yourself. you then posted them on at least 2 forums and got all defensive when you got flamed (on both), and 65 posts later said “duh, i’m not 100% serious … obviously”.

judging by the fact that your intense rapist stare makes me want to take a bath in a tub full of sterilizer, i’d guess that you are at least 96.23497% serious … hard to tell for sure without a shoe though.

What in the world does -that- mean?
DieselWeasel wrote:

Diesel, you are funnier than a monkey’s uncle on crack!

You have such an inflated opinion of yourself. Here’s some advice. Go compare your pic to Kiyoshi Moody’s, and ask yourself do you really deserve anything over a 3.

I’d like to ask what you’re hoping to get from posting your pics at this stage in your physique development? That is unless you think you’re ‘done’?

What are you trying to prove and to who?

How about stop posing?! What is the purpose of putting up new pics of shitty poses every 3 weeks?
