Rape-aXe: Anti-rape Condom

i’d put up money. again, no need to do this here.

The Body Guard, I’d like to hear your opinion on my take. - I said in an earlier post that in a high stress situation (rape) obviosuly there would be a flight or fight response. If you, me, anyone here…if we wanted them to protect themselves with a stun gun, knife, pepper spray etc. It just doesn’t really work that. I’ve seen how a jump goes down a couple times and it comes out of nowhere with the person not being able to pull out anything just because their first thought it is What the fuck is going on, and that next second they are being pummeled. Most people’s first reaction isn’t to pull out the knife. I assume 80% of people in the city aren’t 100% aware of their surroundings of what REALLY is going on, they aren’t looking for who might be a target to them or whatever…they are just doing their thing.

So as I was saying…in a situation like that…most would not have the motor skills with adrenaline being so high to pull out said weapon and use it successfully before the rapist is already pounding your face while all you see is flashes of black and dots from being hit in the face repeatedly.

I’d say the device is great for the simple reason that…well for that split second that he does force his dick in the woman…if the pain is excrutinating enough it may first off shock him, and well I can imagine a device like that would hurt quite a bit…and the natural human instinct would be for him to bend over a bit and grab his crotch. This would give the woman that split second she needs to push him away, or get to that device (knife, spray etc.) to do whatever she needs to do and get the hell out of there.

For those saying they would go in a fist flying rage with the woman, again I don’t know the extent of the pain but the natural human instinct is to bend over a bit and grab the area in pain or at least LOOK what is going on.

If you don’t believe me…look at your friend and pretend your going to kick him in the nuts…his first reaction will be to bend over a bit and lower the hands towards the crotch. (you can slap him in the face then lol) If this device has latched onto the dick causing extreme pain the same thing will happen, which in a situation like that a second could mean the difference between life and death.

Again, I am saying this for the woman in south africa. Why not have more than one tool to defend themselves? If you knew this could happen to you…Would YOU use this device?..Hell if I knew I had the chance of being raped and what not over there and the possibility of death…I would bring a grenade with me to take me and the fucker out. Of course we all do not think alike.

The BodyGuard - Education and enforement sure…but it hasn’t been done in a while…and for progress like that to happen would take a long time. I’m not saying this should be a long term or-deal and will help all. But at least this could be a BAND AID to the problem, until such courses of action are taken to improve education and enforcement to better civilize the area.

Thoughts?

Oh and you and sky…stop that nonsense boys lol, you both have probably had a long day. take it e-z

So…guy goes to rape chick, fingers her, finds ‘jaws of penile death’ takes it out, proceeds with rape then inside outs the rape-aXe and sticks it back in.

second item: These rape-aXe devices could be a big hit in male prisons. Hell I’d use one.
Andy could have used one…or 12…

Anyone here ever watch ‘Blood and Bone’?

Lol, fair enough.

I think this is the first time I’ve been on the other end of Push’s tongue lashings. I feel ashamed. :(
I don’t know if you are wrong Lanky, he did agree with Mak that this isn’t a good idea for women as the man would probably kill them. So, maybe Push could clarify if his opinion is different for women then for himself.

This doctor is in South Africa it is the Rape Capital of the world.

Rape is barbaric, as evidenced so are the circumstances for most women in South Africa. In another article it goes on to say that women are already inserting sponges that have razor blades embedded to slash at a rapists penis.
And yet now you’ve created a more violent beating. I realize that rape is “not pleasant” (read: harrowing), but I can’t help but feel getting beaten to death might be slightly worse.
I have to agree here with my dear chum, Schmakavali. IF I were a violent rapist…mind you the IF is a huge word here because I am one of those who would execute rapists…anyway if I were a violent rapist
Now lo and behold if Celeste don’t owe me a sheepish grin, an “aw shucks,” and a $20 fine for fuckin that post up. I will PM you with the PayPal details.

If that didn’t clarify it…well, let’s assume it still isn’t clear. I said “IF I were a violent rapist…” so the emphasis is on me in that case not necessarily whether or not it’s a good idea for women or not.

As Monsieur Le Bodyguard mentioned, it is a risky proposition EITHER way. There are pros and cons both ways. My bestest in the westest answer would mirror his proposal of inserting the jaws of penile death AND carrying some other type of readily available weapon.
No Push, you said you would kill the chick.

Seeing as how I have the better experience with this (I do, right?)… I win.

you said:

I will call it a draw if you have realized women can decide for themselves.
Celeste, I said if I were a woman I would use one of these.

If I were a violent rapist I would kill the woman.

My God, woman, I cannot make it any clearer. I need some relief here.

There is no draw. You lose because you do NOT read and comprehend my posts in this thread.

Does anyone else not understand what I have been saying?
Push, you aren’t clear. Did you read what you said?

Okay then, use it and be killed.

I am all for that, because being killed is not a guarantee.

I know you didn’t ask my opinion, but I’m givin’ it anyways.

In high-stress-situations people lose fine motor skills and are reduced to gross motor skills. So most people trying to defend themselves with a weapon would more likely fumble around and then drop the weapon. In order to prevent that response you would need to practice with the weapon and condition yourself for the situation. This builds a muscle memory that the body will rely on in times of stress. So just carrying around a knife, gun, tazer, etc, would not be enough. You would need to condition the body and mind to react efficiently.

To defend against spontaneous attacks at close range, it’s probably better to not rely on weapons and use your hands/feet instead. A punch to the throat or finger in the eye would probably be easier and more effective because it uses gross motor skills and is easy to do under high stress.

The Rape-aXe is a passive device that requires no motor skills, so it doesn’t take any thought/action to use except for preparation. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work until the victim has already been overpowered.

which is what some have written maybe a deterrent and may make them a bad idea as it may make some perpetrators angry.

back pedaling is good cardio

it sounds good as long as its your only dealing with a single rapist, or you dont mind getting killed in order to give some shithead a big fuck you, but its still not a gun.

This above reply is on point. I also agree with the OP above that…which is why after some consideration, I agreed that the device would have value in that it may give an untrained and weaker person a chance to use a weapon. It’s really a shame to have this conversation, that we live among human predators…it’s an unfortunate reality.

I’m sure if the answers were easy, someone could waive that magic wand and fix it. It’s a horrible situation - not only from a female rights perspective, but from the fact that life is so cheap and devalued.

I don’t know the answers - within the means of our society, governments, etc., but I bet you my last dollar that if you made me king of the world, with omnipotent power, I’d fucking fix the problem pretty quick, along with many others

So many people keep bringing up guns. Please explain to me how these impoverished, perceieved 2nd class citizens are gonna get their hands on one??? Just whip out the ol Visa? Are they taking cheques on the black market arms trade now? I agree that the use of a weapon such as a gun, pepper spray or a stun gun is ideal, its not realistic. Unless S&W starts handing out .38 specials for 2 bucks, dont expect handguns to become the self defence method of choice amoungst potential rape victims in SA.

there are always saturday night specials such as highpoints, jeminiz, jennings etc… i wouldnt be willing to carry one but if your on a budget it beats being unarmed. I am not sure if guns are illegal in SA(If it is the best option would be to try to change the laws it aint easy but, nothing worth doing is) but im assuming the idea would spread worldwide where some although not most people have access to firearms.
