Ok guys.
Left work, went home and slept for 30min. I was so freaking tired!! then got in the Sauna at a local gym and cut those last few pounds. Weighed in at 170.6 lbs… then I drank a whole bottle of orange pediayalite and then a about 32 ounces of water, Fuck yes.
However the drama never ceases. Dumbass opponent did not have bloodwork, couldn’t make the weigh ins. So instead of MMA we were to do Kickboxing using headgear and shinguards. I agreed because that is my bread and butter anyway. Im going to murder this dude ahhahahahahaha hell yeah. Even though wearing pads is gay as Liberace I was still ready to fight. Now my opponent lives about 2.5 hours away and said he would weigh in Friday night before the fight, even though he could have done a video weigh in. Then he starts asking for travel money and hotel expenses. The promotion said no and he said fuck it I don’t want to fight then, make it worth my while. Next he requested that I weigh in the day of the fight at 170 because he don’t want to fight a 190lb dude LOL LOL WTF!!
So basically dude has backed out in a most pussified way. He is back and forth about if he is actually coming or not so nobody knows for sure.
I got on his FB since he had messaged me before about “hyping” the fight etc… I told him what I thought, got no response and he actually deleted the post from his timeline…what a fucking fag. I found some more good places to make nice statements to him, maybe he will get pissed and want to fight me I dunno but I am thoroughly pissed about all this and I hope his retarded ass shows up tonight, he is gonna get a beating never before seen.
You
Are
Shitting me.
This guy really does need sent back to Farmville.
If you are still going to the promotion, keep your mind in the game. If he shows, than fight.
However, I am going to state the promotion has let you down. Not the other way. You don’t owe anyone else any fucking favors. If the promotion asks for you to “step up” and fight someone else you sure as shit do not need to do it. You absolutely do not need to move up a weight class or take on someone who is 20-0 to “help out”. You have done what you are supposed to.
I hope he shows.
Regards,
Robert A
Thanks again Robert,
I don’t plan on fighting anyone else. I hope he does show. for the life of me I cant figure out why dudes take fights and then run away like that…well I do know but you should just admit that you suck or are scared and don’t take it.
I will be going to the show. I got a free pass I guess if not im beating someones ass. I really don’t think he is gonna drive over here just to take a loss. Fuck I might arrange something so he has to fight me at another show or maybe wait for him in a parking lot somewhere lol.
This is another reason I hate this ammy shit. So many fags talk about fighting and they train like 3 hours a week have no cardio and look like 10lb of shit in a 5lb bag. If I say I am gonna do something you can bet your ass that I will do it. Hell I would pay this fag to stand and have a Muay Thai fight with me, just one fucking round 3 tiny little minutes I will destroy your motherfucking body. They can have an intermission with the other two rounds while I make pics with the ring girls and get my beer on order.

That name sounds familiar. Most of the guys I know from Little Rock are from Westside and they’re pretty straight up about stuff. But there are a few other “gyms” full of douchers down around there.
I am assuming he didn’t show. Is that correct? In any event you should be commended on the preparation.

No need for thanks. Telling the truth comes natural. The fact is I don’t lie simply because the truth is easier to remember. I ever put in the effort to actually make up some shit, than go ahead and say thanks. Otherwise I am just trying to earn my keep around here.

Yeah the Dude never showed up. I think he will never get a fight in this part of the country again either. He called two different people and said that he was just messing around and that he would be there for the fight. They did offer me another fight with a guy whos opponent did not show as well. I took your advice and turned it down.
He was a young guy with only one fight, I think it could have been an easy win for me but I said fuck it. They came back and offered me a Kickboxing match with the same guy. Apparently he had lots of friends there who wanted to see him fight. I was Very tempted to do the kickboxing but after watching one of the one of my teammates do a exhibition match and hearing the rules for kickboxing I decided I would have more fun and learn more sparring in my gym.
Leg kicks were not allowed…LOfucking L and it was only two 2 minute rounds…I would not even be warmed up for that. It might have been different in a real kickboxing match I don’t know and I could not get a clear answer.
Now I don’t want to talk too much about this production because some good friends are working on it, but…
There was not one bottle of water provided for any fighter!
There were no snacks or carbs or anything provided at all. Maybe im a little bitch and I normally come prepared with what I need but this fight I had to work all day and left my job and drove straight to the venue. If dickhead would have showed up I would have went to buy food without a doubt. Even as it was I feel I was still a little dehydrated and had cottonmouth out of this world.
Ended up spending 2 bux for a bottle of water. I guess I am used to fighting at bigger shows…whatever that is. Im from a small town and not a professional, I am used to having fruits and breads and water at least. Sometimes energy drinks and Gatorade.
I think it worked out best for me to just hang out and watch the fights. I look better for the cut and I have no injuries or anything…all is well I did my job and dude is still a pussy.
I’m saying this as someone who, right now, would be scared shitless if I had to face you in a fight:
Calling that dude a pussy would be an insult to every single lady on the planet. Seriously, why would someone write such a massive check with his mouth and then be unable to cash it with his ass? I completely get why someone wouldn’t wanna fight in the octagon but he should have thought about this earlier. I mean WAY earlier.

Because most civilian males I have encountered have a alligator mouth and a hummingbird ass.
Ranzo,
Sorry, Brother, what a load of bullshit…From your past log, I believe this is the second or third time this has happened to you. Along with MMA skills, you must have a black belt in patience… Stay safe…
Alligator mouth and hummingbird ass…LOL I like it.
so now I have been asked to do this kickboxing thing as an exhibition fight in Sept. The guy im going against is a karate guy. Since its not a real fight I am sure he will take it light hearted. Feel sorry for him. Not to keen on doing kickboxing with pads on. I don’t understand how you can do mma with only small gloves and a cup and you can hit or kick anywhere but do kickboxing and you need pads and can’t kick below the waist at all…lol WTF is Obama running this shit?
Anyway there is no weight cut and no bloodwork needed and Im sure that plays into it as well. Should be fun and my new boss sponsored the last fight and he wants to put the company name on my shorts… pretty cool I guess

I think kickboxing federations are super careful for historical reasons. The term (and its rules) was created to allow karatekas, thai boxers etc to have at it without too many injuries.
Teaching or should I say leading fitness kickboxing tonight…young girls and pink gloves!!! Will get some manly stuff going shortly after that. Woo hoo!!!
Good lord. Taught the fitness class last night. I felt like superman! Normal people are so freaking weak ass soggy bodies!!
I ran a 3/4 version of the heavy bag class we used to do in Krav. They could not hack it at all. The technique looked like, well I looked for technique but couldn’t find any. At one point nobody was bringing their hands back to the face after striking some had hands down about the waist. I found a foam/cloth sword thing in a bin and told them whoever dropped their hands was getting tapped in the head.
Then I thought about it some of these people just want to get in shape and I felt like I was a bit of a hard ass, then I thought again and realized I am a hard ass!! No slack for these blubber buts!!! Get on your backs, LEG RAISES!!
So after that disaster I was blessed with being the one who taught the striking class. I had two young guys who just went through the fitness BS. It was great to have someone young and green that I could influence and teach with a clean slate and no attitude. I think that was probably the first time I have ever enjoyed teaching. Even though they aren’t hardcore into MA at this point I got to show them some fundamentals that make for a good fighter.
Last two hours were a ton of grappling. I got submitted 4 times last night but had some good rolls and learned a lot. I don’t learn well in a “normal” jiu jitsu class, matter of fact I hate it. I like spending time with higher belts and guys with more experience and working on things that work for me and then rolling and working in and out of those situations. That is what we did last night with some good ole fashion rolling hard as well. I left tired and sad but satistfied

Sounds like you’re a badass teacher.
I have mad respect for guys like you, one of my coaches was just this way. No excuses, do or die.
Retired Pro Kickboxer, spends his holiday in Thailand (not for cheap sex and drugs but for Muay Thai)and destroyed us every time we got to the gym. I swear whenever the competition group was done the mats were soaked in sweat and everybody was laying on the floor coughing their intestines out. Except for me. I crushed another Conditioning circuit with that dude approximitely half an hour later. 3 times a week.
He got me my first fight and although I got my ass kicked and left the gym later on that guy still inspires me.
Whenever you’d get inside he’d be already standing there between the battle ropes and Heavy Bags 100% focused and prepared to kick our asses. If you didn’t scratch it he’d send you straight back to the intermediate or beginner team.
Keep up doing what you are doing, coaches like you are an inspiration for us younger guys.

Thanks for the compliment!! Some people say I am a good teacher but I really need help in organizing a class. I do better with 4-6 guys who really want to learn. I probably need more experience teaching. Never thought I would teach martial arts at all.
It bothers me though when some meatheads roll in there and learn a couple things and think that’s enough to win a fight. I like pushing through when you are tired.
Busted out with some cardio last night. I had to make time to get it in. Aerobic program on the elliptical 30minutes varying levels tried to maintain highest rpm possible through entire workout.
Back to the gym tonight for some heavy bag work and hopefully some light sparring to work my combos.
Even his name sounds douchey. Like if I was writing a script for a movie about a douchebag I’d name him “Vince Parker.”
Got to the gym early. went right after work. had to wait for the little kids and all the parents to get out of there but got started about 6:15
2 rounds of focus mitts basic combos
2 rounds of focus mitts working defenses and movement
3 rounds of Bas Rutten muay thai cd full power with a round kick added between combos
10 minute break
time to work some more cardio. 2 minutes continuous burpees…OMFG that sucked and I stopped 20seconds before time. I thought the damn timer broke or something seriously long ass two minutes.
2 minute break then 2 minutes of continuous mountain climbers…again Mother Fucker!
took another small break and rolled on my back for some leg raises…no idea how many I did or for how long. I got some burn going.
went to shadow boxing and footwork drills and ended up back the bag doing some high kicks . Trying to improve my speed and stealthiness of my body kicks. At this point I was tired. More tired than I should have been.
Spent about two hours in there just getting in some more work. Headed home took a shower and went to eat with the lady. I was starving and my arms felt like noodles. I have done more work and felt less tired in the past not sure whats up with that.
Back again tomorrow for more work.
In the gym last night.
Warm up .
Shadow boxing, agility drills , sit ups and pushups.
Pads,
Focus mitts just working basic numbered combos. Looking for some hand speed and accuracy. Getting in the groove for the most part.
More focus mitts working counters and defenses. Trying to master two counters stepping off the jab and it ends nasty for the other dude.
Worked two 5 minute rounds with another guy who is fighting the same night. Pretty much straight sparring, he was trying to take me down a lot and I got to work several aspects of my game there.
Strapped up and did some sparring with one of the younger guys, basically a free for all. The bastard go me down and I had to tap. I was pissed. Got up for the next round and I turned my hands loose on the bastard. He is a pretty big dude and I did not want to go to the ground again. We did two 5 minute rounds.
Got on the Thai pads and worked my combos. The ones that come natural and that I have success with. Worked them back and forth and back and forth. Set up a mini game plan for this fight and worked it across the floor about 20 times at least. Did the combos full power on the move. Worked on some other possibilities depending on how it plays out as well.
From there went to some good cardio drills. 1 min. straight. # 3combo on the thai pads, Drop and sprawl back up # 3 combo. 30 second rest. Straight punches, sprawl, straight punches 1 min. 30 second rest. Uppercuts max speed 1 min. 30 sec. rest.
Leg kicks 20 times max power each leg, rest, Knees each leg 20 times, rest. It gets a little blurry after this. I remember being light headed and breathing hard then I remember doing flying knees. Holy shit
Took a good 5-6 min break…maybe more I was spent. Got talked into rolling with a top level blue belt. Dude was super aggressive and it turned into a fight. He was just hanging out forever. The fight team had been over there working for over 2 hours at this point and I get hey man you want to roll for a bit. Initially I said no because I was fucking tired and im not doing any ground fighting this time. After a bit I felt recovered more and I thought what the hell It is good workout and training. Started out he was pushing on me hard so I went for an arm drag and pulled him into my guard and started working for something and well it all went downhill after that. I really didn’t have the gas to fight this mother fucker but I was pissed. Long and short I worked to a neutral position back on our knees and I told him to go away im done with this shit.
This is a bit of a rant but that shit gets on my fucking nerves. I will never ever give that bastard an inch when we spar or train ever again. The switch is engaged. Dudes sit around too lazy to put the time in and work but after watching shit they feel like they need to do something or interject their views onto others. Well I say go fuck yourself I don’t care if you are Anderson fucking Silva. Don’t come over there shower fresh and relaxed and pick a fight or try to show off how good you are on people that have been working every fucking day for 2-4 hours a day like you are something. Ok I will back off it now but man …
I really wish this fight was not a exhibition. I did get him to agree to leg kicks…sucker! My strength is in my standup and I really want to show out. I have never had the chance to fight just on the feet in a real event. I cant loose to a lazy bastard breathing in my ear this time.

X2 on this, I have encountered this myself and it makes you want to move on to lethal force. They are just cowards. A very sore spot with me also.
Yep. Pet peeve of mine too. We’ve got a little 145 pro in the gym, when guys skip drills and conditioning and “just want to get a few rounds of sparring in” I tell Aaron to “make him work a little, get some cardio in.” Which is code for “kick his ass off, teach him a lesson” lol
