I wonder if Fat/Skinny/Short/Tall/Long Arm/Short Arm/long leg/short leg/buck tooth/Baby teeth/Large Toothed/Blue,hazel,brown,green eyed/Hairy/Hair less people have to deal with it also?
I wonder if widespread ignorance, incivility and anti-intellectualism makes themselves acceptable?
It’s a visual world we live in. Like it or not we all are going to be judged on how we look to others “first” it’s just human nature. Will we one day move past it sure but not in this life.
As far as what people in a club filled with booze will say much less some Hoody-chicks with to much of the Malt will do…well you have to give them a pass and move on.
I once seen a group of drunk chicks try to get money out of a post office drop box at 3am like it was n ATM.

OP, serious question. Which do you dislike most: people judging you on your looks? Or that you know what their judgements are?
Both, since I also dislike positive discrimination, because more than anything it just shows faults and vicarious emotions in the other person.

We all knowingly participate in a culture that uses visual clues as means of assessing those around use (we also use smell, noise, etc.). Being upset about that is like a 15 yr old complaining that it should not matter what they wear when they are having a fit to wear the clothes they want because it matters to them.
How the clues are valued and the meanings associated with them is up for debate and often sites of cultural struggle. When can discuss that if you wish.

But…that would mean the “hoodrats” were only seen as “hoodrats” because that shows the faults and vicarious emotions the op has.
He seems to be complaining that society acts just like he does.

The hoodrats were seen as hoodrats because they WERE hoodrats. Being publicly intoxicated, loud, intrusive and unruly is not desirable any way you want to spin it.

Wait…my “op” do you mean ‘original poster’ or the 80s some how short bright blue corduroy shorts became fashionable clothing company? I might be getting confused here.
OP you sound like a fucking pussy. If you do or don’t do something, including lifting, in an attempt to please others you just need to get on your knees and start sucking dick.
OP was rather badass in the “long shorts” and beach wear department…BUT NO, I meant the trend setting nightclub attending openly raped psychologist who started this thread.

I see, thanks for the clarification. Those long shorts helped pave the way to wear shorts at my school. Getting through a 45 minute non-air conditioned bus ride (both ways) in central Texas in jeans sucked. Op and Jams will always have a special place in my memories.
