Program hopping a.k.a training ADHD is completely fine.
We are very quick to point out that any training will typically work as long as you train with intensity and are consistent. Yet, we always die on the hill that you need to finish programs as written all the way through. To me these are contradictory, and I don’t think it matters as long as you are busting your ass and pushing your limits every week for 10-20 years. Even if week to week looks completely different and you ditch new programs every few weeks, you’ll be better off than anyone half-assing a “tried and true” program for years. For alot of us, constantly switching things up is the very thing keeping us motivated, since our workouts never feel stale! And anecdotally, most of the guys I’ve encountered at the gym with the most enviable physiques never have a set plan when they go in and go by feel.
