I did, the video is a couple posts up. I’ve been doing the coan-phillipi deadlift program since then. Have hit 495x2, will go for 520x2 in a little over two weeks. If the program goes well i may have to enter the race for 6 plates.
im going to run the ed coan cycle. i want to pull 300kg/662lbs before im 21.

I’ve been doing 5/3/1 and its taken my deadlift from a difficult 415 to an EASY 455.
First wave of 5/3/1 i started with a ‘5’ week of 315x10
At the end of my last cycle (2 total) I mananged to pull 365x9, and then an easy 455x1. My 18th birthdays coming up mid way through september, i’d love to have a 5 plate dead by then.
Finishing up a week of smolov for squat right now, then going on vacation. Gives me about a month (1 cycle of 5/3/1) to get up there.

I had my first comp Last sunday. And i went in to max out hoping to get 250kg and then get 272.5kg before my 21st. I ripped that shit up 9 weeks ahead of schedule ![]()
pulled 475 conventional for the first time two weeks ago. looking to hit 5 even in about 8 weeks from now. maybe sumo lol. been having good results with the sumo lately but have never tested a true max.
I’ve pulled 415x4 and 455 recently just to keep everyone updated. I’m thinking 475 after I retest maxes after this cycle.

I’m hoping in 6 weeks, right before i’m 18 lol.
Pulled 365x9, which gives me about a 475lb max, so I’m in for this. Giving myself about 8 weeks

hitched 495 up two weeks ago will be going for it at my meet on the 28th so two weeks, might even try it the saturday before if i feel really good
got 495 to the knees before i blacked out on monday =)

PR as of now is 475
I’ll be 18 next July 31th. 4 Months ago my max deadlift was 315 and yesterday I just did 295x10. According to the 5/3/1 formula thats 393lb. I’m not at 400 yet but I want 500 by next year and I know I have it in me.
I’ll be double-over hand with straps and no belt.
