Questions About T-Levels

I am 46 years old…my tes levels have got to be in the basement…part of the problem is I’ve had 2 shoulder surgeries in the past 11 months…plus I looking at a 3rd one in the next month or 2…sex drive…gone…strength…gone…energy…gone…attitude sucks…miserable most of the time…gained about 20 pounds since last March…Dr did a tes test and all my levels are in range but at the very bottom of the range…so my insurance won’t cover anything…I’ve tried a few of the so-called tes boosters with very little success…am thinking of trying some of the things on this site…any ideas of a “regime” of the products sold on this site? Thanks in advance for any help

Both Anesthesia and pain killers of pretty much all kind are killer on T levels.

Lots of stuff to search for. Do a search on HRT. Also look up posts made by ksman and myself.

So there is the insurance company using lab reports to trump symptoms.

Dude, pay for it yourself for a few years, then go cold turkey and get retested.

as ksman says pay for it yourself – while the transdermals are quite expensive, injectible testosterone does not cost that much.

Get your doctor to prescribe it, and have his nurse teach you how to inject yourself (self-injection is no big deal, really)

A generic injectable testosterone at walgreens is around 80 dollars a vial

At the standard dosage, that is a 70 day supply.

That works out to about 1.15 a day. Cut out a cup of starbucks every other day and you are there.

There is really no need to torture yourself over 1.15 a day, IMHO

ksman has often told us that the same vial can be purchased at Sam’s Club for around 40.00 if you have a business membership.
