I’m a prefer conventional deadlift. But I was purchase trap bar few days ago.
The trap bar deadlift+@ trap bar deficit deadlift can be assistance lift for conventional deadlift?
And they are can be increase my conventional deadlift PR?
I would say depends how how you do it. Because with trap you have more give but conventional requires pull…your hips to have be able to keep keep bar in front of legs throughout entire lift, but I tinker with it when not at home cuz I like to lift power if I can.
I find it transfers well. Basically gives your lower back a break while still working the important deadlift muscles.
But that won’t be true for everyone, you just need to give it a go.
I use trap bar as I would a rack pull (with high handles), and I think its really helped my upperback and helped as overload training for my deadlift. Might try low handles for a few months soon.
