So my pharmacy has 1” insulin syringe 3cc… all that they have in stock. I’m injecting into my glutes, I’m 6’1 230 I’m wondering if this is ideal for IM or should I source longer needles. I am going all the way in with the needle (btw) I’m new to this as it is my first cycle (4 weeks in) my injections have been painless. Quad and delt shots freak me out.
Unless you carry most of your body fat in your glutes, 1/2 insulin syringes are your best options.
When I was on injections, I used 30 gauge 1/2 insulin syringes in the glutes and deltoids. I bought my syringes on either Amazon, or some of the medical supply websites.

Oh really? Half inch will work? I thought you’d need longer to reach IM. So I guess my 1” syringes are long enough I think I am just paranoid. Thanks 
I used the 1/2 syringes years ago when I was 35% body fat.
It’s shallow IM, because you’re still going into muscle.
