How aggressively can you get away with cutting on say 500 mg of test and keeping your muscle and nothing else, thats what im on and i just started eating 1500 calories a day with 190 g of protein about. I am 5’8 at 186 lbs of this morning.
I do low intensity cardio, i save the heavy shit for when theres more food available.
If this is your starting point your food is too low.
How long do you plan to eat like this?
You also don’t need that much test to cut. What your current bodyfat and where are you trying to get to?
Waste of 500mg. Steroids are for growth. Half that would be enough for a cut.

Ah no its not my starting point, id say maybe im 18 percent bf rn, my goal is to get respectably shredded and i plan on doing this for a month and probably not longer. Other guy said 500 is a waste so i guess 250 mg is enough to not lose any muscle.
You really don’t have to worry about losing muscle until you are very lean. As long as you are getting enough protien and training hard your fine. If only doing this for a month your fine. 250mg/wk of test is more than enough to diet.
It’s just that you are in a catabolic state trying to preserve. All you need as TRT or a little more to keep wasting to a minimal. Lots of Test isn’t going to help more albeit there are drugs that do to a degree such as Var or Tren (not a beginner compound).
There is a lot to address in this sentence.
You start giving us a variable value of your current body composition, albeit an admitted estimate.
Then you give us an attribute description of your goal.
Then you expect to accomplish this in a single month.
A fat guy’s perspective of “respectably shredded” is probably your current body composition. My perspective of “respectably shredded” is you look good enough to not look out of place in a Bodybuilding Contest. That is a vast range difference.
As to a month long diet, I have found that the first week my weight didn’t drop any. The first week I was fighting biological enertia.
If you are taking any AAS, I would not accept any loss of strength the first month of any diet. I assure you that if you don’t lose strength that you have not lost muscle.
I believe that it is critical to eat at least comfortably over 1 gram per pound of body weight. I ate at least 40 grams of protein six times a day.

Yeah youre right, what i mean by respectfully shredded is def not competition shape i meant just enough to be able to see my six pack again in good lighting
And yes i will gauge my progress based on my strength staying the same,
Also what do you mean by biological inertia?
Thanks for your opinion
Makes sense, thank you for the reply
Whenever you make a change in your life, your body tries to stay as it is. After you persist, your body will begin to yield toward your efforts, whether good or bad.
