Cycle and diet

Alright you legends. I’m 270 lbs 6.2 and about 23% BF so the deal is during this cycle 4 weeks in, I’m doing a pretty aggressive diet around 2000 calories at my size. I’m on 250-300 test and I was taking anavar for muscle wasting properties, but the deal is I’m actually starting to feel like I’m
Loosing muscle in the sense of not being able to lift as much a week or two ago. So I’m
Wondering if I should take more test or up my calorie intake or even both. I do have some primo coming in any day that I’ll be starting at 100mg. I don’t wanna go back to anavar due it was kinda making me feel a bit sick sometimes and th dick issue wasn’t fun on it either.
Also why can’t I reply under my own posts.

Test dose is fine for a cut. The success of your cut is first going to depend mostly on your nutrition, followed by your training. Anavar can kill libido for sure and some just don’t tolerate orals well. No need for it anyway as you would need to be much leaner for an “Anavar polish”.

How long ago had you dropped the Anavar? You would notice some drop in strength a week or so after dropping Anavar.

You need a strength metric that is less influenced on support that will give you a better indication when you are loosing strength. A seated overhead press that has back support might be your best metric.

Few things here. You’re not losing muscle, that’s for sure. Just cos your strength fluctuates doesn’t mean muscle is being lost, at all. You don’t need the Var for “muscle wasting” as you def have no wasting to worry about. The Testosterone dose is more than enough to maintain (and even build) some muscle while you drop weight, which I assume is what you wanna do overall?

Don’t see a need to add Primo into this unless you’re having e2 issues and you want to use that to manage them.

Diet is gonna be the key factor here not more drugs. You have a ton of bodyfat so no worry about losing muscle.

Some here believe that fear of losing muscle while dieting to lose fat is not an issue. The only fear that I ever had while dieting to lose fat was the fear of losing muscle. Taking as much testosterone as you are taking is not why you might be losing muscle. And only increasing AAS is something that I never did.

All the experience I have is centered around bodybuilding. My greatest concern has always been “building” more muscle, so losing muscle is high on my radar. My action when dieting is centered on my theory: If you are not getting weaker, you are definitely not losing muscle.

I always had a strength metric when dieting. I responded to strength loss by adding carbohydrates or dropping cardio.

You are not me, so proceed as you desire. Others that disagree with me are giving you good advice to reach your goal.
