…and I thought my life was hectic! Been catching up on your posts & realized just how much of a recurring theme in your posts and those of my buddies on the Over 35 forum are. My lifting aspirations always seem to fall by the wayside when life poses all these choices…at one time, lifting was higher on the list of ‘priorities’, now it seems it’s near the bottom of the pack.
I am so impressed by what you manage to accomplish in spite of life’s up’s & down’s.
I decided not to compete this past weekend in the USAPL NJ States…instead I went and helped with the Meet…I ran the table(expedited) & filled in as announcer. I was still worried about my Pec and decided with work and all, I couldn’t afford the time off if I got re-injured. Instead, I’m going to do a Tactical Strength Challenge meet on 04/05 that is just a max DL, pull-ups, and max reps in 5 mins KB Snatch. Just wanted to let you know am still thinking and thanking you for alkl your time and wisdom. Hope all is well with you and best to you in all your present & future endeavors.

The sun doesn’t shine on the same dog’s ass everyday as a friend told me long ago. My lifting will be fine again soon, but now i have to get healed up a bit while moving, a new job, and a new airplane to learn becomes a priority.

Just got back from 4 day trip househunting, drove 1300 miles, looked at 14 houses, negotiated 3 deals, got a house, then a walk through on my current house this morning, tons of details on phone, kids issues, and a closing that got moved up. Not to mention spouse stress issues on both sides. Good thing for my garage gym.
Only had 1 hour.

Power GnP, i am not sure of my next big meet. i will be an easy drive from Killeen by June so that makes it easier, but i have to redo survival swim, get qualled in a new plane, get family moved and resettled, start a new job where first 3 months will be critical, and hopefully at my flight physical in sept i will not require surgery on my abs. Something isn’t right, but hopefully my ab appraoch over the summer fixes it without Dr Ginsu.
