I have to echo Chase. While I feel your disappointment, Spud’s story has been tough to read since it began. At our age, it only seems wise to listen to the alarms in our heads and take time to heal.

I suspect you’ll return in a couple of months after a bunch of ART and rolfing and whatnot and nail your elite dream. I look forward to reading about it.

Hey Jack,

I hate to hear that you need time off. I would prefer that you chose to take it. Understanding that it still is you choice - but it is driven by injury. Do take care of your self – I might need alittle help once you get moved up my way ;).

Does this mean no Military nationals for you?

i will do Bench only in Pensacola. Unpleasant decision but need to re-cage everything and right now i do not have time for an injury that prevents me from takign care of work and family issues. You have cut me out of one suit, had enough of that.

i get pissed off when i screw up something i can control, but this i can’t control unless i rest some things and fix others.
It is what it is, so just dealing with it and moving on.

i know for sure i need to back off for a while.
