frenchie’s killing it once again (or is that killing herself???)
re: the hormones and lies, damned lies and statistics… doctors work the averages and go for the least liability path, not necessarily what is best for a person’s physical and mental well-being.

So, when you go off the hormones and your T levels rise, do you then become this well-muscled, shapely-legged, weight-lifting machine that struts around with a half sex-crazed look in her eye that might pounce on her next victim at any moment??
If so, then I vote “yes” to cycling off for a bit.
Kimba - the current specialist I have (endocrinologist) ia pretty open minded. She sees me as a positive result study and wants me to come back every year to gather info on me as a case.
I told her I didn’t need the extra calcium supplementation due to diet and workout, she had me do a density test and had to agree with me.
2nd I told her I had stop using her prescription D (only 400 iu) and switched to a higher does 1000-5000 iu
(depending on the season). We did a Vitamin D test and she gave me a prescription for 1000 telling me to simply take a couple more in winter.
3rd I told her my last prescription was killing my “drive” (precribed by a stupid male Dr.) and she took me off the Dianne and switched my to Yazz. The Dianne has insane amounts of androgen blockers and should only be used for women with very intense acne and body hair issues - not my case either way.
Git - Bingo sir libido is massively improved, recovery from workouts and results are awesome. I should ask my DR what my results are naturally for estrogen and T. I don’t sport a beard, low pitch voice or any of those other nasty side effects of taking the T and get so many benefits. I will admit that for all the “drive” I get really scatter brain and lose my memory for some reason. it’s like I have all the go in the world but no map to get to anywhere - is that how you guys function all the time? lol.
Soldog - totally agree but in my case the situation is so rare I need to walk the fine line. I know I feel great NOW off the hormones but the issue is more related to how rapidly a woman’s body (becasue yes I do have all the womanly bits without extras) can get old without estrogen. I kinda feel torn between medical history and my own experience. So far I found the best approach was using a very light amount of extra estrogen without any androgen blockers.
Funny story - talking to a very feminine granola sales clerk the other day about my condition and she starts rattling off natural ways to boost estrogen. I look her straight in the eyes and say, “trust me I have no problem what so ever with my high T”

Holy shit…that’s the best summary I’ve seen. Amazing that men get anything done.
Cal - haven’t heard of them. I’ll research and make a note to speak of it this fall when I see the Dr. again.
what I was taking Dianne:
cyproterone acetate 2mg (androgen blocker)
and ethinyl estradiol 0.035 mg (artificial E)
what I am taking now Yaz:
3 mg drospirenone: progestins (progesterones)
0.02 mg ethinyl estradiol
0.451 mg levomefolatecalcium - this is a type of folic acid, used in many ways including birth control
The difference in hormone manipulation between the 2 is huge. I’m glad I fought this and won. I know a couple of you are going through your own medical issues so don’t give up!
MIM - yes last time I went off was to do the blood tests. I had to be off for a month before, I stopped in November, took the blood samples in December and went back on the pill only in February. In april she changed me to the Yaz which has been better.
Only thing is I usually stop for a a period of 3 months. This time the experiment will be to see what happens when I stop for 5-6 months.
As for how I was feeling - pretty good. I know that, and that’s partly what draws me to not take it for a while.

Lol @ being a spaghetti trying to hold up a meatball. HAH! Never heard that expression. I have no recs on the squat, but you look cute all pouty and mad
And I absolutely love that pic! Damn those hamstrings!! Looking lovely and lickable. Nice, Frenchie! Year of the leg is coming along perfectly, I’d say.
Nice upper body training. 50s on the DB row is ridic! Good work.
Interesting on the hormones…a randy Frenchie is a very good thing! Its nice that you have a doctor that will work with you and knows that health isn’t one-size-fits all. Youre blessed!
Forgot my workout plan AND my Mp3 player died on my way to the gym. 'Tis Hard to find the animal inside when Boy George is blaring on the speakers.lol.
Deadlifts
135x8
155x5
185x3
205x3
225x2
245x2
275x1
295x1
315 - nill x 2. I had to try
I haven’t deadlifted in a month - since the meet, so I am totally ok with these results. My right hip flexor and knee have been a little twingy since my heavy squats (I favor the right) and I could tell by the bad quality of my form that I was having issues firing consistantly. You’ll see in the vid; I am shaking like a believer.
