Quad Pin Pain

Errrmagerd how long does this shit last i was spose to train legs today and i can barely walk. Dont ask why but i did both legs.

Its been 48 hours and they are easing up but still sore im going to do delts next

Also could slin pins be used for quads if your low enough bf?

How much are you pinning at once in your quad ?
The first time I ever pinned 1cc my fucking quad was swolle and ached for about 3 days after.

1.5cc but didnt load enough in the first one so i did 1ml in right quad then
.5ml in left quad

It’s good mate but not necessary. Provided you’re lean, slin pins in the delts is the best pin ever!

I theorise yes, although I’m yet to try it myself.

I swear I must be some kind of insane pain tolerance freak or something I can pin 5mls in each quad and not feel a thing but some tightness. Also slin pins in the quad is very possible. I’m probably 16-18% body fat and I have no problem pinning with them there.

I pinned quad last Monday (will never do again) stopped hurting around Saturday …was most painful shit ever…since I have done glute sore next day then on 2nd day no pain

Hey reed did your quads ever hurt even the first time? What im getting at is will my quads get use to it and start to recover quicker? Im gonna do quads again next week and try hit the vastus intermedius, the first time im pritty sure i pinned the vastus lateralis do you have any preferance or are they all shit? lol

They’re all gonna be pretty shit tbh kenny for some it just takes 2-3 pins each leg to ease up and others it just hurts every time. I’ve been doing lateralis and its now fine, i can pin 2.5ml no problems without heating etc with a 25g 1" pin.

@Reed I’ve seen in other threads you’ve said that you pinned Medialis (teardrop) before, how do you do it / how bad is the pain compared to upper/outer?

Yeah it hurt originally just like any muscle but the pain became much more tolerable with every pin. I started with 1.5mls and then up to 2 and then one day just tried 3. Stuck with that for a while and it became completely pain free. Then just said screw it and tried dumping all 5mls in and sure enough other than it being “full” I never had a problem. Not saying any one should but it works for me lol.

As for the tear drop I started with .5mls in both legs of Deca something I knew that was very minimal in pip for me. Then slowly up to a full Ml. I wouldn’t suggest going over 1ml unless you just have giant ass quads. As for finding I sit on my couch or something here I can slightly bend my leg and feel for the thickest and nearest part of the muscle which is right about the exact middle length and width. The PIP is no worse than any other muscle I have tried.

PS. I always us a 29 gauge slin pin no longer than 5/8" long.

Guess im gonna get some slin pins and give them a go i still havnt done delts il wait till i get slin’s

I mean in my medialis. I pin with a 25 every where else pretty much.

@reed do you think training legs while they are still a bit sore a few days after pinning is bad? Like is there any reason not to other then they hurt?

No not that I know of. Honestly helps me get over the sore and tightness. I always fine on Friday nights and Squat and pull on Sundays and I have not noticed any thing negative yet

most I ever pinned in quads was 3ml get’s a little sore but I just but a warm pad to help is asorb better a day or two I’m good. the first pin is the only one that hurt after that it’s a walk in the park. If you want to see what kind of man you are put 1.5ml in your calf. I had trouble walking fr a week. It swelled up and was looking nice but I couldn’t use it
