I like your home gym. I’m a neat freak so I would probably go crazy cleaning that room ha ha! But your gym is something I want to get for myself, definitely.

I’m on the 4th day of my Transition Week and things are going great. I feel like I’m cheating by having a daily HSM and even my diet coke and crystal light drinks. I got used to being very strict.

I’m getting used to eating clean and now everyone in my lab noticed how much leaner my face is and the absence of my gut. Getting those kind of compliments are extremely motivating as you will soon find out.

Remember, this diet is to set you up for long term success in your nutritional habits. We have to work hard to get those abs and we will if we just stay the course.

Stay strict Qaash and stay strong in your program!

Well today was my first day where i felt very drained. Cravings escalated today too, it was hard for me to close the refrigerator. I too felt like i should be losing more weight, but we have to remember this is day 4, we have 20 more to go. I am thinking after we have our solid meal things will pick up. Hang in there man.

Honestly, the gym is my pride and joy and now that I’m doing this diet and finally committed to my quest for single digit body fat I’m using it to it’s fullest…my girl hates the mess too. She always questions how I manage to do anything in there, but I do…SPARTAN ALL THE WAY!!!

I haven’t felt drained as so much more easily irritated…being in court doesn’t help much either…To be honest I haven’t felt cravings…it’s more like remembering, if that makes sense. Some of the other jurors had gone to McDonald’s for lunch and I thought about when I was doing that as recently as last week before I started the diet.

My solid meal will be Sunday evening. It was going to be Saturday so I could have dinner with my girl but she had to cancel, so I can go the full week before I eat and get my body really used to the diet. A plus note, one of my best friends is going to be doing the diet as well…my subtle influence.

Just wanted to encourage you. Your doing great, keep working away. I’m finishing day 17 today. Prepare yourself for next week. Week 2, especially towards the end of seemed to be the hardest. Continuously remind yourself how tough you are and how well you are doing. Keep working away and good luck.

Thanks GS,

Almost everyone warns about week two. I’ll see what I’m made of then…so far I’m good.

Day 5

6:50- HtRx & BCAAs
7:15- NEPA walk on treadmill
7:45- BCAAs post NEPA

8:15- Metabolic Drive with flax and 1tsp coffee

I’ve decided to have the shake with the flax as first meal because it taste best fresh out the blender…it just didn’t taste right as third meal sitting in my bag and being allowed to settle.

I get to go to work instead of court today, which is a welcomed change of pace…I’ll definately be more active today…walking around using stairs and such.

Day 5 continued…

Meal 2- chocolate Metabolic Drive
Meal 3- strawberry Metabolic Drive

Forgot to take Flameout caps with meal 3, so I took them at 3p.m. with BCAA’s.

Meal 4- vanilla Metabolic Drive at 4:30

Workout will be at 6 tonight and looking forward to it. Today was actually mentally challenging. There are a lot of restaurants around me in the city and I smelled everything…I wasn’t hungry but I wanted to eat…that sucked.

HOLY SHIT!!!

3rd workout just kicked my ASS.

Circuit 1
Power cleans 4x80#x6…had to drop the weight a few times in order to do it right
Clap push-up 4x body weight x6
Chin-ups 4x body weight x6
each set followed by 40 seconds rest

Circuit 2
Db lateral raises 4x30#x6
Bb Bent-over row 4x120#x6
Reverse crunches 4x body weight x6
Reverse lunge hammer curl 4x20#x6
each set followed by 40 seconds rest

The 40 seconds wasn’t enough…the power clean was the least satisfying in that I had to really drop the weight and I wasn’t thrilled with my form. I really need to practice that move more…had original Surge Recovery…I like it better than raspberry Surge…I’m gonna sleep like a baby tonight

Meal 5- vanilla Metabolic Drive with flax and 3 caps Flameout…followed and hour and a half later by BCAAs and ZMA.

Day 6

9:00- HtRx & BCAAs
9:45- NEPA walk on treadmill for 40 minutes
10:30- Meal 1- strawberry Metabolic Drive with flaxseed

As I stated last night, I slept like a baby. That workout really wore me out. I woke up at 9 and ran to get my daily BCAAs and first helping of HOT-ROX. This will throw off my normal meal schedule but that’s life.

Meal 2 at 12:30
Meal 3 at 3:30…in between meals 2 and 3, had a serving of BCAAs and second serving of HRX.

Meal 4 at 6…while drinking the shake I prepped tomorrows solid healthy meal…steak, french cut string beans and roasted sweet potato…really looking forward to it. I actually felt hunger pangs thinking about it.

Meal 5 will be at nine with flax plus a serving of natural peanut butter(which I’ll be eating tonight)and 3 caps flame out. Followed by BCAAs and ZMA an hour later.

Initially I was unhappy with the measurements I was getting as they didn’t seem dramatic enough but then when I looked at what I had posted last week they made sense to me. My body needs a shock and prior to my diet I was consuming way too many calories, so I have a lot of reserve fat. I’ve lost 3 quarter inches off my waist and obliques respectively and a quarter inch overall everywhere else. I’m not sure how much of the weight lost is water or fat. I did make a lot trips to the bathroom but it was to urinate…I was already using flaxseed prior to the diet so my body was used to the fiber and didn’t effect my ability to stay regular on number twos.

So to recap my first week, I don’t think I was physically active enough, no real NEPA besides walking to and from court daily and my regular treadmill work. I’m going to do the treadmill daily and try to squeeze in an extra 10 minutes to my morning sessions, unless I’m pressed for time. Also, I will be having the flaxseed shakes for first and last meals…tried to have the first serving as third meal but hated the taste of it…it definitely went down better fresh out the blender and thats only in the morning and at night when I’m home. Other than whats listed, I won’t make any other changes. The numbers on the weights seem to be enough except on the decline bench press, I’ll increase that tomorrow and find the right weight.

My protein dinner…I smashed with a tenderizer before seasoning

Carbs…these will be sauteed with 2tbsp minced garlic

Carbs…these will be roasted in the oven

Ignore above image…this goes in the oven

9:00- HOT-ROX & BCAAs
9:30- Meal 1 Metabolic Drive shake with flaxseed
12:30- Meal 2 Metabolic Drive shake

2:30- 2nd serving HRX and BCAAs
3:15- 40 minute NEPA walk on treadmill

4:05- BCAA post NEPA walk
4:40- Meal 3 Steak, sauteed green beans & sweet potato…also, had my serving of Flameout

Now I’m no master chef but have always been able to enjoy my own cooking…that being said, I really really really enjoyed this meal…

Meal 3
