Looking awesome Qaash! I enjoyed reading about your V-Diet journey and your results speak miles about the effort you put into it!
Your increased muscularity has really improved your taper, the shape of your arms & delts, and now your pecs are getting that full muscular build. A huge improvement overall!
How far did you want to drop down to get that Level 3 Leaness? I think if you got down to 175 lbs @ 7-8% BF, you would be at Level 3.
Don’t worry about thinking that you will be too skinny, if anything you will look bigger and leaner with a sick V-Taper! Heck, I’m thinking about getting close to 170 lbs and shrinking every fat cell in my waist to nothing. I couldn’t care what other people think because I know how good my physique will look at that level.
Again, great job Qaash! You are living it out Spartan Strict!

Awesome job bro, you still got a ways to go, but the changes from the beggining of your quest til now are pretty remarkable. Keep it up.[/quote]
Thanks Austin, no slackin for me. I definitely have a ways to go but now Im at a state where I can accentuate some stand-out features and get that X-Frame.

Hi Gus,
To be honest I’ve never been concerned about body weight, just looks. This journey is purely for aesthetic reasons. Anything else is purely a byproduct of the work to get the look I’m after. After, I achieve the look then I’ll follow up on strength, if I’m severely lacking. X-Frame first tho.
This is actually my second week on the Waterbury Method…my first week was a feeler week as I was trying to gage my strength level.
First workout was Monday…
Workout #1
Front Squat: 10x185#x3…I was able to complete all sets at this weight and it’s 10 pounds less than my current bodyweight, so I’ll shoot for 205 next week…my grip is also Olympic style and not with arms crossed.
A1 Arnold Db flyes: 4x40#x6…originally it called for dips here but I want to really work the lower outer pec area and have read up on Arnold’s style flye movement.
A2 Db rows: 4x60#x6…definitely going heavier on these next session.
B1 Skull crusher: 4x70#x6…I was too conservative with this weight, will try 90 next week.
B2 Bb curls: 4x80#x6…same as above…going to try to keep the weight equal for biceps and triceps.
Hanging leg raises: 4xBWx6…I’m going to double the reps, 6 is too light.
Originally it called for rest periods of 70 seconds and 60 secs…they both seemed too long after the V-Diet workout rest periods so I shortened them to 60 and 45 respectively.
This was followed immediately by Surge Recovery with 10g of glutamine and creatine added.
Yesterday was cardio…30 minutes at 3.4 mph @ an incline of 8…my treadmill goes from 0-10.
