Hey shadow,
Came up with a question about a subject you talked about but you didn’t specify one thing.
You mentioned switching compounds every 6-12 weeks (depending on ester) can increase gains when progress stalls due to tolerance.
Is this exclusively true to compounds or could one switch ester of the same compound midway through the cycle and get some form of better results or less side effects?

It usually works better with different compounds but here’s something similar I do if I want to stay on the same substance… I’ll slowly taper down the short ester and introduce the long ester. So, technically for about 2 weeks you would have both in your system. I found that this switch can help you stay on a specific compound for longer without losing efficiency. So what you suggested will work to an extent.

you mentioned from long to short ester, could it work the other way around?
a short ester will buildup alot quicker so while the longer ester is still available to an extend the short and long esters are working together for 2ish weeks
You don’t come off often but do you feel like there’s a disadvantage of waiting 3 weeks for a long ester to clear? Switching to a shorter ester one could do PCT sooner and potentially retain slightly more gains?
-
when do you recommend someone to start switching compounds? as early as a second cycle or should one wait till he’s more experienced?
-
what compounds do you recommend switching between? Compounds that are similar or entirely different from each other? or it doesn’t really matter
-
For someone that’s trying out a compound for the first time(tren for example), if side effects would get too hard to handle for them should they try to lower the dose or change the test:tren ratio, suddenly stop taking it or taper it down slowly?
-
If one stops taking a compound due to side effects is it a good idea to take another compound to replace it so planned gains wouldn’t be halted?
-
Do you have an opinion on roid calculators (calculators that measure the amount of active substance is in your system every day and how long it should take to buildup)? [/quote]
Yes it will work the other way around as well, depends on you goal. I usually do it as I suggested because usually coming off from a show and going into an offseason it’s a good transition to rebound for 2-3 months before taking off.
When you are coming off from a show you are still on short esters, so as long as you are still doing them for 2-3 weeks until the long esters kick in then you’ll feel no drop. Once the long esters are in you can stop the short.

Depends on your goal, if you got great gains from your first cycle I would probably keep the compounds you used and maybe add another one in a low dose. If your goals are now different then you should change the compounds. The kind of compounds you use are completely depending on your goal. Obviously for dieting you’d use something completely different than gaining.

Depends on your goal

NEVER just stop taking anything, if you’re talking about a compound like tren always start with the lowest dose possible and see how you react. If the side effects are bad you should always taper down slowly. Changing the tren/test ratio might work depending on the other compounds you are using and the dosage but for the most part, if you are taking more test than tren the side effects are usually more mild.

It’s a possibility but again, it’s goal dependent. It’s always better to have an option B if the original plan isn’t working but you need to be familiar with the compounds that you want to run if you are replacing something.

No opinion here. Never used it.
