I know both. My point was that to say that the character flaws listed are mutually exclusive from financial success is a flawed argument.

I know some way cool successful people as well, and the people I’m closest to tend to lean towards the more positive things you mentioned. I hope I’m not coming off as saying “All rich people are crazy assholes” :slight_smile:

I suppose his ego finds it hard to accept that a group of people who dont know each other can all come to the same conclusion independently that he doesnt know a tenth of the better more accomplished posters on this site and so harbours the notion that its a conspiracy.

My opinion is that when this site was new X probably held court a little but soon as its ranks swelled and more advanced trainers came in he was displaced, rightly ofcourse as this is progress.

He should have just left the podium sat amongst the initiates at that point and soaked up the knowledge but I think he felt that as a form of rejection and that he would try to bully his way back to primacy.

Unfortunately his knowledge is less than some of the others so its of little wonder when he isnt listened to with as much intent as them.

I am not friends with anyone on here. I make my own mind up by listening to the arguments each make and base my response on that reasoning. PX threads are just an entertaining distraction to the more informative posts of Zraw, Stu, Brick and some others.

Job tittles pretty much have nothing to do with someone’s character. Sure a cut-throat attitude or just being a generally insensitive prick could lead to advancement in some professions but to say that someone can’t be a dentist because of their attitude on a forum is a bit strange.

If I have my facts correctly, X is a maxillofacial surgeon (calling one of these guys a dentist can sometimes be like calling an electrical engineer and electrician). It’s not super uncommon to find someone in his field with a large ego.

I think at this point I’ll have to look at it like this. I’ve fallen into being a broken record myself and I don’t have more to say on expected natty gains and delusions of 80 to 100 pound muscle gains.
