Question, if fat loss can be seen that fast, why would I worry about being heavier for a while if it can help me maintain more muscle in the long run?
Read that last line. You literally just told a blatant lie. I dunno if you are just forgetting what you write or what but you are getting seriously tied up here.

Prof X, can we see a pic of you currently? I assume you’ve got a new phone. I also feel like it’s safe to assume that you can take a picture in your bathroom (even in your gyms bathroom, if the lighting/your pump will be better) and not have it stolen by the time you can email it to yourself.
Not a “I ate XYZ before I took the pic”, not a “the lighting in my house is bad”, not a “that was taken for an overly dramatic* before and after photo”, but a real “this is my current state” pic.
Like I said before, I do not think professor X looks bad in his most recently posted photos of himself based on his goals. I think he has the look he said he is after: big muscular guy who looks like he’s spent some serious time slinging iron.
He had said that he is leaner than that now and heavier? If I recall correctly?
I’m sure that photo would be even more impressive than the last.
x2 on the request for an updated photo.
I think the few photos already shown in this thread could be out together to make a dramatic transformation.
From Urkel to Mr T to 300lb “DYEL” to 3 weeks later NFL D Limeman to FullHouse Linebacker Mode to ???(current leaner and heavier photo)
Would be very cool IMO.

Isn’t there another guy that posts almost exclusively in PWI that has nearly that many? Fuck man I don’t know how you guys do it. My little brain can’t think of that many words in a day.

I don’t think it actually requires that much thought when 80% of the 50k posts are roughly the same shit rehashed.
What I wonder is what the Professor is doing here if there’s always so much friction where he posts. Does he need to amass 50k posts here in his lifetime to finally be able to die in peace and go to Valhalla or something?
The only logical conclusions I can think of are that he’s an asshole who likes getting angry and arguing or that he needs to post somewhere and nowhere else will take him. Either way, it’s kind of sad.
The worst thing is though, that I do believe that he could be a valuable resource if he were more willing to act as one and didn’t see the need to win every damn difference of opinion he encounters by flying off the handle. The bottom line here is he HAS achieved his goals. He just hasn’t found a way to effectively communicate in a way that doesn’t involve pissing someone off.

This just needs to be re-posted every time this jackass tries to come off as a bodybuilding expert. Yeah, he’s a big guy. Yeah, he’s about 50 pounds overweight. Didn’t you say you were an athlete? That first pic doesn’t look like you could make it up a flight of stairs, big boy.
And X… If you are going to be that BIG and carry excess FAT focus on becoming STRONG!! It’s embarrassing to struggle with light lunges. I mean, hang out in in the powerlifting forum. On second thought, that might not be a good idea.
Like everyone else has echoed, the boards have got bad because X can’t be the King of his little fiefdom anymore. There are too many guys who A) look better B) know more C) or both.
I just wish Bonz317 would come back! That dude was an all time great poster.

And all that wind we are hearing is the sound of X backpeddling. Prof, I’m glad you think everyone else envies you. It must be a nice way to go through life being better than all of us common folk.
Tony, you look like a beast. Nice work.
Would you be hurt if I said that this is the first time I’ve seen you post here (as opposed to our “other” place)? :-)
HAHAHA!!! I posted in O35 while I was doing 531, because surrounding myself with people better, stronger, and smarter than me forced me to work harder and demand more of myself. It worked like a hot damn, and those guys and gals offered me invaluable advice. Then I stuck around during my contest prep for the support of like-minded iron-heads.
Then I left for “greener pastures”. The drama here is exhausting!!!
Apoklyps wrote:

Years ago he said he planned on stepping on stage at some point. I feel like he tried to start dieting (not contest prep, just leaning out) and lost a lot of size and numbers on the scale, had a panic attack, and gave up on dieting when he realized that it’s not nearly as easy as he thought.
I’m not saying someone can’t change their goal, but changing your goals so that you “meet” them is complete and utter bullshit.

i say it again, like it matters what the fuck I think about anything,
lets be honest, X is a hyooge mother fucker who IMHO looks impressive as hell, but its his My shit don’t stink" and “im bigger, smarter, better than everybody else” attitude that makes it easy for us to make fun of and nit-pick him apart.
again, i really do not think he is serious, he enjoys the attention, he is an attention whore, negative or positive, its all good to him.
Actually, none of you do much as far as “nitpicking” the actual points of discussion or debate with me. Most of you spend your time fussing about my ego and trying to psycho-analyze me over the internet.
If my points of debate were so easily countered there would be no need for the personal attacks constantly.
But thank you for the compliment. You look impressive also.
sigh, i give up.
carry on.
btw, thanks also for the compliment, appreciated, especially from a guy as big as you and who has been in the game as long as you, it means a lot.

Come on, X. It’s my birthday on saturday. Please?
My avatar pics are always current. I won’t be going out of my way beyond that for you, but thanks for asking.
I can see some of you spent pages fussing about a picture taken almost 3 years ago now. That’s a little sad.
