Question…if you never got “huge” then how would you know the best way to do so?
You’ve never been big and lean either. So, how would you know?

AYE.

DoubleDuce I think you’re huge

I think I have certain parts that are pretty good size. (no pun intended)

Note that I never admitted or said I wasn’t huge. Dr. Unicorn made that part up too.
browndisaster wrote:

At what point is someone huge? Is it purely subjective? DD might have reached a size where he thought this is huge and then dieted down. There are people out there who think PX is small and would think he hasnt reached a level where he can call himself huge. PS I am not one of them.

I can speak very well on the getting big part.

I can also speak about leaning up to “looking good in clothes” condition at the very least and like how I look.

I don’t speak on contest dieting much at all on this forum.

Once again, how would you know about the getting huge part?

I don’t know. I think I do okay.

To.sum everything… Upping the dose usually solves most (all) problems

Thanks for the nice thread everyone

Hey this isn’t about doing ok.

No one said you look like you don’t lift. I said you never got to my size yet have so much criticism for me.

This forum is to help people get big…not for you to constantly voice how much you don’t like me.

Bottom line, you never got “damn” huge. Maybe, just maybe, I know what I am talking about when it comes to doing that.

You can have all the credit in the world for being super lean.

It seems some of you miss that not all of us care how super lean we are and can still look great and meet the goals stated in this forum.

I can get “leaner” without ever hitting exactly “12%” and still look great.

That is the point.

I’m not super lean. Never said anything about you not knowing how to get big. And all the rest is fine, so long as you don’t go around making the claim you are 12%, which you did.

this needs to be memed
DoubleDuce wrote:
Oh crap. My apologies X. Earlier I referred to you as Mr. Unicorn. What I meant to say was Dr. Unicorn. I meant no disrespect, I know dentists work hard to earn that title.
Currently sitting at 12%. My horn has a little more girth than usual because I just ate a big meal.

I don’t think any training knowledge has been posted here beyond the basics of your shoulder training and that is pretty sad in 15 pages worth of posts. I am not blaming you for this, both sides are equally responsible for the bickering and arguing. I feel sad that some people have nothing better to do than blast each other on an internet forum but that is the human race for you. To Professor X, just ignore that detractors and post your knowledge the way you want it posted, who cares what other people say in an anonymous forum on the internet, there is no need to defend yourself constantly as it is clear to anyone reading this forum that people will troll anything you post just to argue. To anyone else, take a real hard look at why Professor X bothers you so much. Who cares what somebody thinks they look like or tells other people they look like. If I want to look a certain way, I’m not going to stop at this or that level because professor X said that’s close to 12% bodyfat, I’m going to continue to train until I achieve the look I want. People need to lighten up and just breathe, nothing in your life is changed by anything that is posted on this forum by Professor X, so stop acting like jealous children and let the man do his thing. Do yourselves a favor and just stop caring. If you don’t like each other, why let the other people add stress to your life and why spend any time at all worrying about what they post on the internet? Just seems like a huge waste of time and energy (as was writing this post for me).
Good post.

But look at it this way also…if I hadn’t posted at all in any way, these same people wold still be acting like I am obese and cant discuss any aspect of bodybuilding. That can affect the advice that other people get as newbs as well.

They can’t do that because the pictures do say alot.

I am here to discuss bodybuilding if you want to. I am also here to ask when the hell getting huge took a back seat to leanness when it usually takes some form of periodization to achieve any extreme size and conditioning in the end.

Once again, I agree with you.

I also know that sometimes it does take dealing with the people here just to argue in order to make a solid point.

Thanks for the post.
I can appreciate that and I certainly don’t understand why people seem to project their own goals onto others. My ideal physique is closer to a Rob Riches than say a CT or John Meadows, but that doesn’t stop me from appreciating that dudes that are much bigger and stronger than myself have put a lot of time, effort, and discipline into that and don’t care about being as lean as possible, regardless of whether I personally feel it is misguided or not. It just seems like everyone on here is acting like they are suddenly going to look skinny fat if anyone else is working towards any goal other than what they are personally working on. I know that some of the advice you give will not be applicable to my personal situation and goals, and I can appreciate that said advice is sound for people working towards a different goal than me and still have the intelligence to avoid it for my own situation. Keep on keeping on and don’t let the haters get to you too much.

Bla Bla Bla many will say you are good at.
You ignore the get lean so the big is a huge question mark, may i say it is a FullHouse question mark !

Thanks…but you did have a point about me not adding to it.

However, honestly, they have made it so I could not respond at all without getting that response so I chose to deal with it head on.

It seemed to do the job because you were able to see past it.

I don’t plan on adding much more to it.

Thanks again.

I didn’t make any claim. I said I think I was about there in a pic and posted that pic.

You disagreed. Fine. But no claim was made other than a guess and no body fat percentage was taken.

I think I have written enough about how useless those are most of the time other than to give guys like you something to brag about or something to detract away from the progress someone else has made.

I have no clam to be “12%” body fat nor do I care about ever hitting that exact number in itself.

My goal was big muscles and to be lean enough to look good.

I did that.

You haven;t done either by much it seems.

You have gained some muscle and frankly, you look good for the average gym goer.

Some of us want way more than that…so I did what was necessary…and it worked.

Classic passive aggressive X asshole-ness.

He never insulted you, only called you out on a ridiculous statement.

You replied with your tried and true “I’m bigger than you”.

No, I said he looks good for the average gym goer…which he does. There is no passive aggressiveness there because I have no problem speaking directly to any of you.

He isn’t big enough to make a statement about whether my own methods worked or not for me.

Judging by the size I gained, it would look like it did work for me so I did what I needed to do.

Once some of you start getting way bigger without ever bulking up…then we can talk.

Until then, where are those pics of your shoulder development I asked about?
