I have learned that some of these guys with the nuttiest outlooks on politics and life…may actually be nuts.
You too huh Doc? What? What did I reveal that is not absolutely public information that YOU published yourself that took me 2 minutes to find online? The only thing you ever told me was your name which I still have never publicly uttered to another human being. I made a point with that freely available information that was absolutely pertinent to the discussion at hand. In fact I left out the address and phone number that YOU made publicly available. Come on. You can be the next in a long parade of unsuccessful attempts to disparage my character here. An answer to the effect of “well, I’m not gettin into all this with you” will be the exact same cheap copout every other unarmed character assassin falls back on when challenged too .

I hope your next post is a rethought apology. This phony outrage about harmless information that YOU yourself are advertising, presumably with the hope that people will see it, is really beneath you. A cheap shot because the shallow empty worldview you hold provides no answers to the substantive points I have thrown your way. Just like this asininity about demanding evidence that I train a couple pages back. If you really wanna lock horns? I am fully prepared and will engage, in the power and grace of Jesus Christ as my avatar says. You WILL lose though. Have no illusions.
Time for chest tri’s and shoulders now.

Squat = 315 x 2
DL = 335 x 5
BP = 225 x 3 (left shoulder has issues)

Tiribulus,

When was it that you found Jesus, if you don’t mind my asking?

Hmmm…630 in the squat? That’d be awesome! Would be happy just to have a functioning shoulder actually.

Have you worked on scapular retraction ?
pittbulll wrote:<<< Have you worked on scapular retraction ?
Don’t be ridiculous. Everybody needs their scapular.

No. It usually only bugs me if I lift heavy, like less than 10 reps. I’ll look into it though. Thanks!

Both my shoulders are bad, but it’s my right that nags me the most. Those shoulder stretches you usually see done with a broomstick help a lot, but I do em with a VGA cable which works great.

The stretching helps, but what really fixed things up is beefing up my lateral and rear deltoids and my upper back too. Possible going to as much as a 3:1 pulling to pressing ratio. Maybe not forever, but at least for a while.

What that meant to me is more facepulls of different types, lateral raises, and general heavy back work like deads, chins, and cable rows.

Also making sure my shoulders are warm before I start any workouts by doing shoulder dislocates with a broom handle or a band like Tirib mentioned and all types of arm swings.

Anyway, these are the things that helped fixed a shoulder that had been nagging me for a couple or so years.

Also, if you don’t, do direct shoulder work after your press/pulling/core movements.

It took me over a year to retrain myself on how to move with out flaring my scapula . Every once in a while I have to revisit that lesson. It is harder than you would think.

I guess it has been around a year since I posted on this thread…had to deal with some Thyroid issues mid year, but I am back to pretty much a good point for me.

Using 5/3/1

Trap Bar Deadlift - 525x3

Whoa. I’m 6’4 and we weigh the SAME?
I’ve had the pleasure of setting down with Push and sharing a meal and conversation. The man is built like a fire plug, only denser.
