Vacation is over! Update your log!
^ what he said!
Hereās a random ass picture I took in the hotel mirror. Baby is 5 months exactly now. I am starting to see abs so I am happy about that. Shouldnāt be long nowā¦
A couple of things to mention:
Vacation was awesome. I seriously needed that. We still lifted while we were gone but mainly just because we had already had enough sun for the day. A good problem to have for sure. I was really anticipating some set backs upon returning but NOPE! PRs ALL FREAKING WEEK this week. I think I should take vacations more often! ![]()
I finally finished up the old Anaconda, Surge and MAG-10 and as of yesterday moved to the new formula. SO MUCH BETTER! I was drinking a scoop of each mixed to make 2000ml. That is a LOT of liquid and it always left me feeling bloated about 10 minutes into my workout. This new formula just doesnāt do that and I actually feel thin after drinking it and not like I just had Thanksgiving dinner. Plus⦠the pumps! OMG! I caught a pump on my hamstrings and I donāt think that has ever even happened before. Just all around good stuff!
I also started CTās 5,4,3,2,1 method with deadlifts today. I really like it! Again⦠PRs! AWESOME! Canāt wait to apply it in other areas.
simply awesome results.
Thanks, Hara! I am only a few months into this. I really canāt wait for how things will look by the end of the summer! ![]()
As mentioned before I have been doing a 54321 method of lifting. It really helps build you up so you can do the #1 weight. My problem is that I find I want to do it MORE than once!
Next week. Next week.
Current lifts:
Deadlifts: 235lbs in a 54321
Benchpress: 105lbs in a 54321
Squats 165lbs x 5 ( this is with perfect form. I have started over after getting form sloppy on 205lbs)
Pushups - 18 in a set x 3
Pullups - 3 x 3 unassisted
Dips - 4 x 3 unassisted
I think I am the most proud of the pushups, pullups and dips. I guess being able to do your own body weight just impresses me. Gives me the best feeling too.
Nutrition - I3G twice a day, Gluten/Dairy Free, No idea about caloric intake and it is nice not to worry about it. I am on the new Anaconda during workouts.
You are doing great, and you look fabulous! Keep up the hard work ![]()
Great work cat! Itās been awhile since I looked on this site. Keep working hard. Your you gin is 5 months, mine is now 4 months. Nice abs.
Current Lifts:
245lbs Conventional Deadlift
120lbs Bench Press
185lbs Squat (this is after starting over. Happy to report that they are a low and as deep as they can be)
I push the prowler occasionally but nowhere near what I should!
Still ZERO cardio.
Gluten Free
Dairy Free
4 I3G caps in the morning
Anaconda peri workout
6 month old baby in arms most the day and interrupted sleep at night. ( This HAS to be what is making the difference. HA!)
Hopefully it wonāt be a month plus before I update againā¦
Doing AMAZING!!! I am impress.

x2- progress pics are amazing, Cat -
Thank you, gentlemen! ![]()
Damn Catā¦you are looking awesome on all levels.
You look great. Not for just having a baby but, in general, you look great and your baby is beautiful.
Keep posting updates whenever you can for those that find inspiration in your re-composition. Please read as: I have lifted for many years also and am very pregnant now and feel as huge. Whenever I feel like I will never look like I used to, I always refer back to your progress.
Youāre killing it, lady.
Thanks Hara and Jackie! Glad to know that I helped someone by logging! ![]()
No pictures to share today but I have had some great PRs I thought Iād share.
Yesterday I hit the 205lbs squat again. This time it was deep, low and solid and not the least bit wobbly!
You will recall that I did it a few months ago but it looked like crap and I didnāt go deep enough. I reset and started over and am VERY happy with it now. Maybe Iāll do a video next week.
I have been deadlifting around my max working on reps. Hanging out at 245lbs but will go ahead and do 255lbs next week. Again, solid and feeling good.
Honestly, I am surprised at my performance this week because lately mental stress has been a bitch. I have decided to just power through it the best I can because itās not going to be letting up anytime soon. This is usually the point where people fall off the wagon. However, I am channeling this stress where it belongs. I have to accept the things I canāt control and control the things I can. ME!
Also, weāre in the middle of a kitchen remodel so we have been eating out a ton. Weāve got it down to a science and eating out and clean is super easy for us BUT itās getting super old so I started cooking more with the Bowden cookbook again. It really is good to make and then take to the pool to eat! Plus⦠you get leftover sauces etc which are great with rotisserie chicken and rice.
Anywayā¦public log pictures next time⦠pictures for my profile maybe sooner than that⦠![]()

good job Cat - glad to have you around here ~
Good transformation.

Ohhhhhhh⦠I figured Iād log in and update just to prove that Iām still plugging along. These days the physical changes are miniscule despite increasing lifts. I think having faith that you are still headed the right direction is the hardest part of this. Maybe I am just impatient.
Up to this point I have done ZERO cardio. (I do not consider prowler work to be cardio FYI) I am going to start adding it in a few times a week and see what happens.
Hereās a back shot from yesterdayā¦
damn Catnip - that is impressive musculature, so tight and shapely -
i am impressed at your transformation~
Hi catnip, I just wanted to introduce myself, and say that you look AMAZING!
