So i’ll take on the handstand pushups and the pullups and chins (separately) challenge.
There is no way in hell I can MP 135 - unless you give me about 5 years. So i’ll leave that to all you studs.
And i’m totally calling vids for the HS pushups (for posterity and for possible epic face-plants).
Nikki - 42? You’re a beast. Did you do the whole lifting of hands business…
Yeah I read the entire thread before doing it, so I did chest to ground (not that hard since my boobs are big ) and stopped at the bottom, then fully extended arms.
As for the hands, I raised up my palm. Did you want plyo push-ups or what was I supposed to raise?
Lol! Nah girl. I totally believe you. Effing impressive.
I’m doing the handstand pushups tomorrow. You game?
Sure what are we doing? Max HSPUs we can do? Not much of a contest on my part.
So worth the confusion to get a vid of Greg doing push ups
Okay I did them over, I like those a lot better. My arms and chest are killing me though.
Anywho, push-ups done the correct way is 43. I’ll get a vid up when my arms aren’t numb.
dang 43 is good! (BTW my ass looks huge in that video lol)
yeah max HSPU in a row. Head touches the ground for each rep. (also its mandatory for girls to attempt these in a sports bra only and post video)
Funny Greg I think we where the only two that understood those push ups and I only knew them because I saw them done at the crossfit games over the weekend, haha.
I’m in. Video later tonight, to the standards of greg’s video post.
I got 100 in 2 mins in a military physical fitness test once, but they sure as hell weren’t dead stop pushups, and I haven’t done pushups in the 5 years since. I will be thoroughly whupped.
Hey greg, when were you at jump school? I was there in July of '02.

are the hspu’s free standing or against a wall?
Doing the push ups Saturday after bench.

That’s where I saw them too. Never seen them before then but thought it was genius. Really the only way to ensure legitimate reps that I’ve ever seen
Oh yeah and the HSPU’s are against a wall. Doubt I could even balance myself in a real handstand lol
Got a vid of the push-ups. My dumb camera only recorded 1:26, I’ll have to figure something out. But this is just to make sure that I’m doing it right before I start practicing them the wrong way.
This was my weakest set today but it’s something. I have no idea how many I did, I told my bf to count but he kept making me laugh so I kicked him out my room and I lost count somewhere around 35.

I was going to upload to youtube on my droid and show u the link but I have no wifi it will wait till I upload it. I got an easy43 after working at chest of 15 sets although I didn’t put hands up. I forgot but did stop.I might not look like it from angle of cam.
When I do normal pushups(normal being military standard ie: to parallel) my tits touch the ground.
I don’t really see the need to lay on the ground and pause before coming back up. That completely takes away momentum. Idk. I usually do between 55-65 in two minutes for PT tests…oh and I have the most perfect push up form ever.
But sure, I’m in.

Nutz. Youtube blocked at work. I’ll have to wait to watch. I’m sure it’s epic awesome.
Edit: Oh wow the filter is off today. Cool. That wasn’t so bad. You could just do three or four negative only attempts a day till you build up to a single concentric. That’s a trick some do to nail a lift at a challenging weight. At least you had the gutz to give it a go, film it, and show it.

I think the ladies should be excluded from the ‘chest to floor and lift the hands’ form regulation. Based on Nikki9591’s video I anticipate wardrobe readjustments and general anatomy issues. Unfortunately I lack a serious rack, so I’ll have to eat floor on every rep.
I’d love to be excluded because a part of my anatomy touched the floor before the rest of my body, but sadly NO…
