So I must say, that the HSPU challenge that came out of this thread has me now incorporating them into my 5/3/1 military press day, and I love them. When the challenge first started, I got 6, and the other day I did 3 sets, 5/7/3. I love that exercise now that I can actually do them.

I’ve been practicing them more now to. Great that we got so many ppl to post vids. Somehow I perform better when I know a lot of ppl will see it.
I started a new job and have NO time. I’ll try to post some BW on the bar squat numbers soon though. Keep it up peeps, we’ve got a good thing going.

total weight, bar counts as weight
I like burpee pull ups (only done them one time) but the problem is the pull up bar at my gym isnt high enough to make the jump worth it. I would like a pretty high bar to jump to. Like 9 feet or something so you’d actually have to make a decent jump to grab on.
I’m going to do the BW squat on my next leg day.
On a completely unrelated note can anyone in here do a backflip? From the ground? I did two tonight at the gym after not having attempted one in almost a year and a half. new contest… who can do a backflip… who is cool like me? ![]()

I tried to learn how to do one on the internet. My spotter was a 265 lb strength and conditioning coach for a CFL team, so I thought I was doing awesome backflips, but in reality he was grabbing me and flipping me over. I realized this when I tried one on my own and failed miserably.
Side note - He (with 2 spotters, me and a female trainer) actually learned how to do one… it was awesome. The ground felt like it shook when he landed. Agile for a big motherfucker.
^^ see thats your problem… Just practice wit no spotter. Thats what I did. Just went out and tried it. 265 and doing a backflip is pretty awesome. I’d like to see that.

Um no, not at all not even close. I am the most nonathletic person ever. I was born to be as wide as I am tall and lift heavy shit don’t know why I ever got side tracked from that.
