Binford,
You could probably get a little more than 75 lbs out of your Fury. What is your benching style?
I try and bench with an arch, although my arch isn’t really that good. I had benched 275 raw, but to be honest i bet my raw strength wasn’t that high on meet day.
So technically i may have been getting more than 75lbs out of the shirt, and the shirt wasn’t really as tight as it should have been. But i dunno if i could get much more out of it, 350 was a grinder all the way from the bottom, which usually in my shirt i get alot of rebound off my chest and just carry it through to lockout, but not when i hit 350, so i dunno.
I’m going to be using a double ply F6 at my next meet, so i probably wont be using the single ply anymore.

With the original fury and with the F6, it would help if you worked the neckline down in the front. Also try working the shirt off the shoulders a little. This will help tighten the shirt and will give you more out of the bottom. Especially, if you are getting the bar on the belly.

I definately had the shirt jacked down as far as was legal.
I love Titan’s stuff; I’ve had great results with the Fury - presumably because it suits my elbows-tucked, good arch style.
For the same reasons, I’m liking the F6 that I just started using, although it’s a lot of shirt (especially as tight as I have it).
In the middle, I used a Rage-X and am still pissed at myself for being so stubborn about refusing to get away from it. I’ve got two double-ply Rage-X shirts that I need to sell now (one open back, one closed-back…long story). Basically, they work great if you’re an elbows-flared (bodybuilder-style) bencher who doesn’t rely much on an arch.
That said, I was still more impressed with the closed-back version of the Rage-X, and I know of a few lifters who have said the same thing (closed is better than open in this particular shirt).
If you’re a true newbie, I would recommend a single-ply Fury to start out; it’s pretty easy to learn and won’t really throw off your technique a ton. The Rage is a lot of shirt. If you do want to try out a Rage, shoot me an email and I’ll let you give one of mine a go (we’re about the same weight, and they’re slightly big on me, so it would be a relatively loose shirt in which to learn the groove).
Eric, sounds good. I tried to send you an email but it keeps telling me I have to specify who I want to send the email to even though you’re listed as the recipent. Please PM me. I’d love to try the shirt.
