Pulse Fast for Fat Loss

Hi

I want to do a pulse fast with an aim of losing max fat whilst retaining max muscle.

I train 3 days a week.

I am thinking of doing the pulse-fast on non-training days.

Should I be eating at maintenance on the other 5 days? Or in a deficit?

What do you suggest?

Also, how many MAG-10s do you suggest for the fast?

  1. On the training days first get your peri-workout in order and adjust the rest of the daily diet according to how you are changing. I know you want to lose fat fast, but cutting too much out of your diet can be a disaster. If your performance drops then you aren’t eating properly.

  2. You mention the calories on your training days. But they are important on the fast days too. Even though intermittent fasting gives you A LITTLE leeway when it comes to consuming more calories without gaining fat, at the end of the days if you overconsume calories vs what you burn, you will store fat.

  3. 4-5 servings throughout the day

CT,

Thanks for your quick response.

  1. ok. that makes sense. will observe results and adjust.

  2. to clarify, by “pulse fast”, i am referring to a day of consuming nothing but MAG-10 pulses… so it will only add up to 500 or so calories for the day.

you mentioned “intermittent fasting” so i assumed you may have thought that i’m referring to the “pulse feast” approach, rather than the “pulse fast”

  1. does this number change, based on what i have just clarified in point 2?

Sorry about that, I thought you meant Pulse Feast… my mistake… than in that case you can eat a surplus on the training days (still shoot for mostly good food) and bump up to 5-6 pulses

ok, got it. thanks
