Pulling Exercises Having Different Technique? (Best Damn Strength)

Why does chin up and row and deadlift have a different technique (strength skill) as apposed to doing chin ups for 1 set of max reps like how the bench press and overhead press are programmed in the workouts? Thanks

I find that these lifts respond a lot better to strength-skill work… both are lifts that can be trained without maxing out either in weight or reps and improve fast. Other lifts like that would be snatch variations, clean variations, high pulls and advanced gymnastic drills.

For the deadlift it’s also about reducing CNS stress and preveting injuries due to form breaking down.
